[when shirasu approaches the amphitheater, lune may not be immediately seen. they are not on the stage, but rather seated in the first row in front of it. there is a mug of tea held between two hands, and a tray with more tea beside them. it's still very warm.
they will lift the mug up for a drink and then lower it once shirasu approaches - opening a hand to the place on the other side of the tray]
[lune is officially the first person to get some made for them, congrats lune. shirasu will find a spot to set down the plate he'd brought; there are little moons on them, it seemed like an appropriate design.
he settles in, and while he'll also take some tea, he doesn't drink yet. he just holds it between his hands for the moment.]
I also hope you do not mind answering a few more questions. There are things I preferred not to ask among the others.
[Hello Shirasu. When he approaches the main meeting hall, he'll find Sol standing out in the open and seemingly studying the scrolls hanging from the walls. As it is, they are also facing Shirasu's own scroll, arms folded over their chest as they study it. The footsteps draw their attention though and they turn to face him.]
It hasn't been long, but given that I've spoken with your counterpart twice now, it was starting to feel like I was neglecting you.
[which he was, actually. he did not want to speak with someone with a sun symbol on them, and it seemed like lune knew more in that first gathering anyway...
but he inclines his head to them as he steps further inside.]
[lune will be in the garden this time, sitting neatly on a bench amongst all the flowers. they're in literally no rush to be going anywhere at all, apparently.
when shirasu approaches, they'll turn to face him, and
can't help but tease]
I thought my curiosity would have made you skittish to return.
[he's brought a tray with a teapot, a pair of cups, and more sweets-- they're a different flavor this time. he might be trying to figure out what lune's favorites are.
but he sets it next to lune, taking a seat on the other side of the bench.]
Has getting more answers helped, do you think, or only raised more concerns?
[hello friend, today lune is seated at a table in the dining hall. it appears that they have a collection of flowers at their side and are beginning to arrange them in a pot.]
[he wouldn't consider himself one, given how reluctant he's been to share anything? but shirasu takes a seat as well, watching lune arrange their flowers.]
[lune will actually be by the main hall this time, not too far from the portal. they appear to be in the middle of that green tea, though the wagashi is at least untouched until shirasu approaches]
[Not too long after receiving the note, Sol wanders their way to the beach. They can be found standing at the edge of the ocean, staring out at the water and waiting for Shirasu. When they hear him approach, they turn to glance over their shoulder.]
[Yes because of his tie to the element, no because of the circumstances he's mentioned to Sol before. But he hasn't ever shied away from it, making his way to the edge of the water as well.]
I thought a little practice might not be a bad idea, or a bad diversion.
any day when everything was still peaceful, before the sky clouded over the gallows, when they were still a happy family of four. the kumous and their beloved shrine help, kinjou shirasu. evening has already fallen over the shrine and today there is no sludge, no animals left scattered about. it's clean, immaculate as shirasu had always kept it -
not that the head of the shrine is helping. he's hanging out on the porch, already having snuck sake out from where it was hidden away from the middle brother's judging eyes, and he seems to be looking over something - a fan.
it's hard to discern a ninja's steps - but tenka is good at it, has learned to be good at it. not because he's paranoid or nervous but rather because - ]
Ohh, Shirasu! Welcome home!
[how else could he say those words if he didn't know when shirasu was coming? he beckons him closer]
Come, come! Sit - we're drinking! I already started without you, bahahaha!
[his steps are a little slower than normal, not quite hesitant but measured as he takes in the scene, the shrine as it's meant to be-- like normal, back when there was a normal. not desecrated and unnerving.
is this just another hallucination? but those hadn't spoken, and this is certainly his voice, apparently all too real.]
Tenka...?
[his voice is soft at first, almost uncertain, but...
no. there's no way this is something real. it's a memory from the past again, or another vision; this is something he couldn't ever truly come back to. and if it's only a vision, then...
shirasu breathes out a familiar sigh, shaking his head as he takes a seat and runs fingers through his messy, headband-less hair.]
[This is a man on a mission. This is Sol striding through the gateway looking for someone in particular, and it takes some time before he ends up approaching the shrine. The shrine itself is a little spooky, truthfully, but he pauses and approaches the house nearby to look around.
He refuses to stop searching just yet, and it's why he calls out eventually.]
...I know you're here. [No he does not, but he can bluff.]
[The voice comes from above him, because Shirasu is, in fact, in a tree right now. He doesn't immediately come down-- but he sounds a little amused at that callout.]
[Well since there are duck wagashi, this means Sol will be meeting Shirasu at the beach again. He's seated on a rock near the water, holding the treats in his lap on a small dish and holding one up to examine it under his hood.
Unfortunately, he hears Shirasu approach and immediately perks up instead.]
Shirasu! [Please don't greet a murderer like this.] What exactly are these anyway? [Sol understands the universe provided wagashi but that doesn't mean he gets it.]
[Back at the beach, but this time his hood's already down as he stares at the water. He's not busy but he's tense, unsure and unsettled as he waits for Shirasu to arrive.]
I suppose I've seen it coming for a while, now. We're all aware of the way that man's behaved... more than anything, I'm interested in knowing who managed to get the better of him.
[Disappointing, but not unexpected. He peers at Roxas, though--]
[Eventually, Sol will get enough courage to go and find Shirasu in his new jail house. It takes some time to get things settled and to make sure he has the right frame of mind, but as he approaches the house he takes a breath and enters slowly.
This is probably a bad idea, but...he can't ignore him. Not after yesterday.]
[The fear's still there. It's still difficult to deal with, considering he's unused to it and what it tends to make him think of when left alone-- but he at least has the advantage of being someone that Shirasu actually kind of, sort of likes here.
[And so he goes. And so he goes to the house they've locked Shirasu in, thanking Milla for the message before stepping inside and shutting the door. He waits for a moment, not quite taking off his hood yet until he's absolutely certain.]
[Well. Sol will let himself in to Shirasu's house once he walks past Milla who I'm assuming is still guarding everything. His hood comes down almost as soon as he enters and Shirasu will see that he's busy chewing on some sort of candy as he takes his place against the wall.]
So. You went through with it. [The swap, he means. His tone's cautious like he's not sure how to feel. It's probably because he doesn't.]
[Fortunately according to Niji, Milla is leaving him alone for the most part since he's contained and powerless, so Roxas can show up unnoticed if he wants. A tuxedo cat trots right up to him, while a white cat with mismatched eyes (one of which is clouded) watches him warily from the bed. Unlike with most others, though, it doesn't immediately hide. The owl is asleep after its trip because I will not keep track of 3 whole animal.]
If it makes you feel any better, I don't plan to kill anyone and put him at risk. Finding ways just to defend myself is keeping me busy enough.
[It's a little surprising that Shirasu's being polite considering everything, but when he hears a knock on the door Sol gets up and opens it. Given this is his house, he's also not wearing a cloak. Today it's a black t-shirt and jeans and he's staring up at Shirasu for a moment. Shirasu doesn't get to see inside the house just yet, but he's not exactly blocked from entering either.]
Hi…[He frowns a little.] You okay?
[All things considered. He doesn't expect he answer to be "yes" but it's more asking in case Shirasu immediately needs something fixed or such.]
[but that said, this probably happens after he has a couple other conversations bc he def sees sol and hisoka first
anyway! at some point monday, he is just going to show right the fuck up wherever lune is with tea, because it's been a bit and also he's dead and nothing is good right now? this is fine.
if the answer is 'at home' please assume he knocked first at least.]
Well. So much for the grace of others, hm? [maybe slightly bitter. a little.] But this is less unpleasant than expected.
[lune is honestly sitting outside his home? he's just been watching every Happen so much, running off to the gateway or otherwise. he glances over to shirasu when he approaches and manages a soft laugh]
It would be quite unfortunate if the young one were to be forced into a difficult place even after all his responsibilities were completed.
Would you believe me if I were to say I did not wish to see you on this side so soon?
[well! that was something to watch. it was probably also something to deal with, and he's paid enough attention to notice roxas' mood.
so he shows up at some point when roxas has had time to make his way back home, with both tea and a plate of small desserts he's made while giving him time to conclude business over on the living side. knock knock.]
[When Shirasu knocks Roxas looks up from where he was putting something on the floor, food for Wednesday most likely. He looks up from where he's crouched down and gives Shirasu a faint smile. ]
[hewwo. for once he's not being polite-- if the door's not locked he's just coming right the fuck in, though he will shut it first before using his name.]
[Where's Shirasu? It doesn't matter because Sol has his hood up and he goes to find him on Thursday sometime, black cat in his arms and stomping right up to him.]
You asked Emma to take on your project? Seriously? [He sounds exasperated, it's fine.]
[hi roxas. he's probably getting bothered by other people when he gets back but he is also getting a visit from his resident ninja friend, who still looks super displeased with the situation.]
...death is still quite a frustrating thing.
[being unable to do anything, unable to step in somehow, still sucks. also, water is wet.]
But I imagine your position is much the same, right now.
[hi grandpa. whenever he's back over here and not busy, shirasu is showing right up wherever he happens to be, home or not.]
What now, then-- do you intend to just wait for the rest to choose how they'll try to kill you, after hearing that? Or are you allowed to interfere in that case?
[no tea or pleasantries this time, it looks like.]
