[shirasu will be quieter along the way, this time. he's no slower to lead lune along, but there's still a certain hesitance in his demeanor the closer they get, and he does slow his pace when, finally, they approach that familiar set of stone stairs.]

[though shirasu's response is certainly noted as lune will walk along with him, ambling right behind on the stairs. their walk is leisurely, but they don't actually seem to be labored or having trouble with the trek]
[but beyond that, he remains quiet on the way up as well, until they reach the top of the stairs and the shrine; his brow furrows as he frowns at the state of it, taking the scene in again.
it's not much easier to look at on a second visit.]
