I'd have expected something more akin to what was done to me in that trial, but... well. I suppose that was an equally effective method with someone corrupt. Perhaps they wanted to ensure he was unable to target anyone else, rather than waiting.
[shirasu is just going to reach over and take one of the desserts as well, he made enough to snag a couple.]
Is it the method of his death you disagreed with, or the decision to take care of him that way at all?
[Give him a moment to eat his snack...] ...of course we want to make sure the corruption is taken care of so that it doesn't hurt anyone else. That's not the problem. But the way it was done was way too extreme for me to take it lightly. I get why, but...I dunno. There's just a lot about this week I don't like.
I'm going to guess you can't say much more about it than that.
[a sigh, there. probably understandable, considering they can pass information on now, but... still. he's dead & he wants to know things.]
I'm unsure there was an easy way to handle him, considering his skill, but-- I can understand that. I suppose it's not easy to see it be covered up either, then, the way I assume it must have been... they certainly didn't seem to be trying very hard, at any rate. Even Hisoka had his killer found, much as they disliked that.
I think that's the frustrating part. I can't cover for people, but it's our job to help you guys find the people responsible because it's like we said. Even without corruption, taking the life of another is enough of a grounds for the corruption to start manifesting. So for people to just sort of forget about it...it doesn't feel fair.
[...] The whole thing's complicated and reminds me that it was way easier when I could just use my Keyblade on the darkness and get this over with.
I was at more risk of it then, after Kazuaki...? I suppose I ought to count myself lucky. Perhaps it won't be the same for them, though.
[he was dead during four's vote and execution, today's the first time he's really been exposed to that information... that's definitely a little troubling.
It's why the purification process exists, Shirasu. No matter who it is. [But...he grins quietly before he holds up a hand and summons a small car-key sized weapon.]
It's a weapon. Usually they're bigger than this, though, but...they're what we use to fight darkness at home.

[he takes a sip of tea there, frowning slightly.]
But not entirely unexpected, I suppose. I received a message beforehand saying they had things handled, in regard to Kresnik-kun.

granted, it matters less now, but still.]
