[When Tsurumaru finds himself at the farmlands, it'll take a little bit of tracking and searching to find Sol. Eventually in his searching he will find the hooded figure hoisted up upon a fence watching the horses and the cows. It also gives Sol a bit of a height advantage which seems to be what they're hoping for. The crane is resting in their lap and as they hear the footsteps they speak up.]
This is kind of cool. [...the crane. They definitely mean the crane.]
lune seems to be neatly seated at the table, along with the omurice that was provided to them. except it's been... divided into two plates? but instead of being cut right down the middle, it's been split in half by essentially carving out the shape shape of a waning moon. lune naturally has the plate closer to them with the crescent, and the open spot opposite them has the rest of the curve
it seems they have a sense of humor]
Thank you, for granting my wish to be taken care of.
[the tea is welcome, as always - and so is tsurumaru.
yet when he steps inside, it'll hardly look like a home at all. the area he steps into looks much bigger than the side of the house on the outside, allowing more room to move about. however it appears as though some of it is already hidden from sight. toward the back of the area there is a paper screen door, obscuring it from sight.
it's the most antique, traditional part of the place.
because the rest of the front area looks like it's meant to house traditional antiques.
the walls are white, the tiles are white, and they are interrupted only by what appears to be hung japanese woodblock paintings, small placards explaining their date and origin. the display cases hold the occasional artifact from some point in japanese history, except for one display case that appears to be... empty? its placard is also neatly covered with a black cloth, keeping it from being read.
based on the empty stand within the case, it seems like a weapon would normally rest there.
lune is only just closing the screen door behind them, offering up a soft laugh.]
tsurumaru is a nosy bitch, so it's obvious that he's looking around because he isn't trying to hide it. the only thing that stops him from flat out walking up to things and poking at them is lune speaking to him, because he just immediately turns towards them. ]
I did say I would make you some the next time we're together.
[ although after saying that his gaze starts wandering again, going over the cases, and then settling on the empty one. ]
[tsurumaru is basically free to come into lune's house whenever he'd like -
though it would appear as though today lune is seated at a table that they've conjured up. sitting on it are an assortment of flowers. gardenia, daffodils, asters, and a few others that may be able to be retrieved from the garden. there's also a seashell, a picture of some tropical flowers, and some wagashi.
there is a rectangular box in front of them that they appear to be working on flower arrangement, and their gaze lifts when tsurumaru approaches.]
[Tsuru what the fuck. It's fine, Sol hears someone knocking on the door and he's busy giving the door a questioning look before he gets up, heading for the door and opening it?
He's 100% blocking Tsuru from seeing inside just yet, but he's hooded and just staring up at him.]
…good morning to you, too. [He doesn't sound too displeased though. Hi Tsuru.]
[does the timey wimey because jiji is busy on thursday nights it's fine
but it would appear that lune isn't in the front area of his house. the museum looks untouched - though it would appear as though the case that was once empty is now properly holding the blade of the mikazuki munechika. the screen door in the back is open though, emitting a warm light
mikazuki's voice carries through as he hears the door open - ]
I am here, Tsurumaru Kuninaga.
[he doesn't even need to guess who else might just barge into his house]
[He's definitely sitting on his bed reading a book and has a kitten in his lap, but Tsurumaru lets himself in and he turns to lift an eyebrow. He's also not wearing his cloak but rather he's dressed down in normal clothes today. Khaki pants and a black shirt, but it counts.]
...you're lucky I know to just expect this by now. [There's a slight smile anyway because it's Tsurumaru.] Hey.
[what's up, here's mikazuki, reading? oh god he's reading. it does seem like he has BL manga in his hands today, but Pride & Prejudice and Twilight are pretty nearby too
though he will look up at Tsurumaru's approach]
I had heard that you've been rather busy.
You certainly have the attention of the living, my crane.
[it's some time after execution that mikazuki wanders back into his home. he removes his hood and there is a flash of a second where his ever-present smile seems to be missing, like he's thinking about something that's drawing his thoughts quite far away.
though once his gaze falls on tsurumaru, he allows himself a smile.
even if it isn't quite as easy as it normally is.]
I'll lose my chance at claiming your attention soon, won't I?
[Hewwo?? Tsurumaru lets himself into the house and he'll find Sol sitting crosslegged on his bed with a book. Wednesday the kitten is in his lap and mews in greeting, allowing Sol a moment to glance in Tsurumaru's direction.]
That time already? [But there's a half-smile. He never actually minds Tsuru's company, but it's sort of funny when he just lets himself in.]
even as he removes his hood and continues to hum underneath his breath, his gaze will eventually fall upon tsurumaru and rather than address any of the new information or anything even remotely important - ]
some time after minato has fallen into a sleep, mikazuki will return to his home. he removes his hood, but continues to hum a tune softly underneath his breath as if he hasn’t realized that it remains echoing in his chest.
when he sees tsuru, his expression softens]
Thank you, for trying to help him before I arrived. I ought to have intervened sooner.
[maybe it's been a little hard to come back to tsurumaru lately?
maybe mikazuki has been happily occupying his time with other things - going off to see the roxas, staying at his side. maybe it's simply an old man finally stretches his legs, as opposed to someone who is avoiding finally becoming vulnerable as promised to someone that they hold dear to them.
but regardless mikazuki will be walking in on wednesday night, as he must. today he carries an amaryllis and a protea flower.]
I have returned from the front.
[though he begins to say it with a little less obvious humor now]

last week, wednesday
maybe mikazuki has been happily occupying his time with other things - going off to see the roxas, staying at his side. maybe it's simply an old man finally stretches his legs, as opposed to someone who is avoiding finally becoming vulnerable as promised to someone that they hold dear to them.
but regardless mikazuki will be walking in on wednesday night, as he must. today he carries an amaryllis and a protea flower.]
I have returned from the front.
[though he begins to say it with a little less obvious humor now]

[ he looks over at mikazuki from where he's seated. there's an obvious pause, but then he stands and walks over to him
except tsuru doesn't stop, instead going for the door. ]
You can put those down. Come with me.
