I'm not sure. What he told me was vague enough that it could have been something I've already done.

[ there's a pause, and he suddenly looks sheepish ]

I understand why he lost his temper. He takes our mission very seriously, and it seems like where he got taken from... well, if both you and Lune-chan were different, I can't say I wouldn't have attacked either.

Yeah. [Which Sol would have been fine, truthfully, but the assist is nice especially given the fact that Kara is taller.]

What was your mission anyway? He didn't really say.

Ahhh... we have to protect history. It's a long story, but basically there is an organization who go back in time and try to change important historical events to change history.

[ he looks down at his sword ]

It's why we were brought to life like this. They're going after people like famous samurai, and the like, that helped shape our country. We were the swords of a lot of the people involved.

[cyclists]

[Oh. Okay. Sure.]

So to make sure that history happens the way it's supposed to, you and other swords travel and stop the organization. [Uh. What did Kara call them...] The Revisionists. Why are they trying to change history anyway?

[...] I think I understand why you were brought here though.

... when you say it like that, I think i have a feeling too.

[ but anyway ]

In the time period our base is at... humans have not treated the world kindly. It seems like the Revisionists believe that by changing key past events will be enough to disrupt history and stop that future from happening.

[cyclists]

But that's stupid. [Sol?] That's just making an even worse future instead. ...isn't it?

It could be. The only way to be sure is if they succeeded.

But as you said, the chances are more that it'll just make things worse.

[cyclists]

[There's another nod. That still sounds very bad.]

Your mission's on pause right now. Time's not moving or anything, so the Revisionists won't be able to attack while you aren't there. Are you as bothered about being here as he is?

It's inconvenient, but that doesn't change my being here. And if I do end up breaking back home, it'll be nice to know I've done something to help here.
