It's sort of a big deal, but okay. [This is why Roxas as an NPC was a bad idea.] ...the way this whole thing is working makes it so much harder for you guys to trust each other. I don't get what the universe is trying to do.

I don't know. Shess talks to Jiji--Lune a lot and so does Emma, but you're the only one who really talks to me about stuff that isn't asking for favors.

[Of those three, he means. Also is Roxas just lazy and using a nickname for Mikazuki? Yeah.] It maybe counts a little. But right now you're starting to find everyone that's been tasked with roles. That's a good step forward.

[A shrug. ] Of the three of you, I mean. Shess only spoke to me to see if I had answers to a question he had, and then to grant him a favor. I had to give him a task to do so and he only did it because someone else suggested it. Emma...I see her weekly for her role but even then it's usually Lune. Otherwise it's questions to get information I can't even clarify for her, or favors. Everyone sort of defaults to Lune which is okay. It's not like I don't get why.

[But it is a little frustrating to sit around and wait for people only to be asked for favors or answers he can't always guarantee.] ...but I have you guys. Minato's nice. Nana's going to teach me to bake. And Shirasu was nice to have around before everything happened.

[This may not be how it really is but from his perspective most people come to him once to actually talk to him and then it's about favors or questions he can't answer] It's just the way things are right now.

[ he listens to Roxas talk quietly, the frown on his face deepening. he gets why it's happening, but... he doesn't have to like it.

Just 'cause that's the way they are, that doesn't make it right. I can't guarantee you anything with Shees, but I can at least talk to Emma about it.

[On the one hand, yeah, it'd be kind of nice to actually know who he's working with. On the other, he knows that's idealistic and he sort of feels weird asking Axel to fix things. So…he frowns right back.]

I dunno. Maybe it doesn't really matter that much. Even Valvatorez eventually started coming back just to get tasks to earn favors. But that's what I'm supposed to do to help everyone here.

[ it's a happy that's lined with anxiety, but that's not exactly new. ]

You'll still spend time with us without her, right? [A stupid question, but the moments with his best friends are kind of one of the only things keeping him sane. ]

Just making sure. [But oh.] I didn't tell Emma that part yet. [It's debatable if he ever actually planned to explain who Axel is to him, but he should probably mention that now that it's official.]

Of course she knows about Xion, Xion's not the one who's got a secret identity right now.

... It's up to you. I'm not gonna tell her if you still don't think anyone should know. But that's the only reason I haven't.

She knows my name and what I look like, and she knows I've known you for a long time. I didn't go into details because when she asked about the Organization I didn't think it was necessary for her to know at the time, and she hasn't asked about anything since.

[So no, it has nothing to do with hiding and literally just:] I wasn't sure what you'd told her, if anything, about any of us either.
