[ he's quietly cackling and just. takes out his gummiphone to snap a quick photo of roxas's face right now ]

[ No!!! His hand comes up to try and cover the lens but fails.] Hey! That's not fair, give me a break!

[But. o: He's looking at the phone curiously. Sora and Axel have phones and he doesn't and that sucks. ] I still can't believe that's what the universe brought with you.

Me neither, but I can't complain. There's way worse stuff out there. The universe's sense of humor is pretty crummy.

[ banana... stick... anyway, should've been there when they were handing them out like gummi candies, roxas? wow. though since he looks curious, axel hands it over ]

It's basically a glorified camera at this point.

I've noticed. [He's taking the phone with both hands and he'll start flipping through Axel's camera roll.] Cameras aren't bad though. Akane's been using hers, and Nana was using hers, too. It's nice to have the photos for later isn't it?

Yeah. I've been using it for that, too.

[ there's pictures of pretty much everyone axel's had regular pcs with, as well as a few from regular daily life game life. there's the secret selfies of namine and roxas at the beach that they took together :T. there's even a mikazuki in there!!!

there's also some pics that are just from twilight town because of course they are. ]

[He's not replying because he's looking at the pictures and grinning to himself as he goes through them. It's...cute, kind of, and he lingers on the photos of Twilight Town the most.]

Yen Sid enchanted them with a ton of storage didn't he? There's a lot on here. [He also flips back to look at the ones of Emma :T]

[ they are chipmunks. also axel has no actual clue how his phone works.

and he is staring at roxas looking through his. many. pictures of emma, some of which are selfies with both of 'em, looking deeply embarrassed. ]

They're chipmunks, and even with everything in our world that's a little too much for me to even think about.

[They literally engineer spacecraft. But yes he's staring at pictures of the two of them.]

You do, but you look extra happy in these ones. [There's probably no difference and Roxas is just being a jerk to tease him.]

[He's just laughing and shielding the phone.] What, don't tell me you're embarrassed about your girlfriend.

No-- [ this is believable because he's blushing ] Nope, you've just lost them for being a punk, give it--

No way! I'm not done looking yet! [...but he's also quick on the draw and snapping a picture of Axel and his blushing face.]

Roxaaaaas... [ he hates this so much, laughing and hiding his face ] Brat. I think I'd have liked it better if you were mad.

[Just a soft smile.] ...it's hard to be mad when it's pretty clear you like her. [It was jarring and he's still wary, but it's not the worst outcome.] So...I'll get used to it.

Alright, fine...[He's going to hand it back.] I kinda wish I had one, too.

Yeah? You tried making one yet? [ ... hm ] Or if all you want is the camera, you could just try making one of those.

Mm-mm. It's funny. Sometimes the power works just fine to create stuff but other times it doesn't work right. I haven't figured out why it is. I could make a camera, I bet, but I couldn't replicate a gummiphone.
