[It's quiet here. It's quiet and the water is peaceful and and Sol is crouching on a rock by a tide pool with the offering stick in their hand. It might look strange, but their focus is on what's in the pool, a small crab making its way around. They've been waiting for some time, it seems, and even as Axel approaches they don't speak up.
The waves lap at the shore gently and the drawbridge to the castle's down. This really isn't anyplace for a fire user, but at least it's nice.]

[It's hard to see since the hood is still up, but Sol's listening even as their attention follows the crab skittering across the rock. The stick doesn't move.]

[You sent them a stick :T Send a better present and maybe you won't get ignored!! In all seriousness, they seem to be hyperfocused on this crab before it jumps back into the water, leaving Sol to sit back a little and turn to face Axel again.]
We did say we wouldn't be that far away if you wanted to talk to us. [Not that Sol fully understood what that would mean, but shh.] The boats probably have some magic on them that they can hold anything.
[They turn a little further, this time actually facing Axel. There's a moment that they study him.]

Nah... I've never been that much of a flower guy. A friend was picking them up earlier, so I kept one. [ and it is very distressing that xion was picking up something about remembrance, but it's fine ] Besides, recently, I've kinda been going along with the whole "home is where the heart is" shtick.

For fun? Usually we just... hang out, eat ice cream and watch the sun set. [ which ok when he says it out loud sounds BORING, but: ] We kinda didn't have a whole lotta days off for a long while.
