[not long after ookurikara sends the lantern, lune will be present to meet him at the north path exiting the village. they remain dressed in their long garb, and greet him pleasantly]

Good morning.

Are you well-rested?

[seems like they're going on an adventure]

[ he's a little hungover and grumpy because apparently tsuru got him drunk last night but otherwise he's back in his normal clothes, sword at his hip. there may as well be no difference at all.

and he's not going to entertain your pleasantries, sorry. ]

Your magic - is it fire, too?

[ or are they just at the north gate for ookurikara's sake? ]

It is not, but I believe I have come to understand each element well enough that I can at least provide guidance on how to tap into them.

[and off they go to the north gate!]

Week 2, Monday

[cyclists]

[While they should really leave well enough alone, after some time Sol's thought about some things and has decided on their own to seek out Kara. They're prepared for this to go badly, but at least if it does they can say that they tried and nobody can get mad at them.

As such, Kara's probably in the kitchen minding his own damn business when one minute he's cooking, and the next he turns and there's a short figure lurking in a corner and watching him.]

I need to borrow your time for a few minutes. [This is maybe not the best greeting but sure.]

[ While surprised at Sol's sudden appearance, Kara doesn't show it outwardly. He merely stares at them in annoyance before sighing and turning back to the pot he's been preparing for dinner. ]

Don't tell me you want lessons, too.

[ It's probably for the best that he lets the sword rest against the cabinets while he's cooking tbh. ]

week 3, monday

[cyclists]

[lune seems to have decided to look around the gateway today! when kara passes by the park, he may notice the robed figure inside, turning their head toward them and greeting him warmly]

Did you find what you were looking for?

[ he's a little surprised to find lune here, of all places. the both of them really just like to appear wherever they feel like it, huh? ]

That there are other ways to purify the corrupted? Yes. [ but lune must have known that. ] Then you sent me and Shess the sword, didn't you? And we weren't the only ones.

Is that what I supposed to find, by finding the ones who faced the darkness? Or was it the recording?

[ or is he still missing something? ]

week 3, tuesday post-cyoa

[It would appear as though a visitor has decided to pay you a visit today. Lune is waiting in your home once you choose to arrive, a scroll in hand, which they pass to you wordlessly:]

Nebula

Every Tuesday, the Nebula will be approached by one or both of the Signs and be presented with the gift of reforging bonds. This may take effect in the form of binding a pair of partnerless players together, or choosing two players to swap and repair.

While the Signs may encourage the Nebula to choose, the power itself is optional. If the Nebula chooses to skip this week, there will be no change implemented. However, the Signs will warn the Nebula that this power has a time limit. If it is not used before then, it will disappear on its own.

Additional notes:
The Nebula will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the games and communicate with the Signs if it will help them make a decision. However, the information received will be up to the Signs' discretion.

[ once he's done reading, he turns back to lune, eyes lingering on the tea for a moment before he nods. ]

This power... If there are more than two without partners, can I use it for all of them, like someone did two weeks ago?

Week 3, Saturday

[well Lune doesn’t see any reason to waste time at that. Kara will be able to watch the lantern with the note float off down the river - up until there are some footsteps approaching from behind.]

[ well, the first order of business - ]

Will you give us a way to contain him - the one who killed Kazuaki, with the white hair? But I'll have to ask Sol to nullify his powers.

Week 4, Thursday

[Asking Sol if he wants to spar is a little silly given he will always agree, but he's surprised when Kara asks anyway. He sort of thought maybe he forgot, but today he's on the Quidditch field leaning against a goal post and waiting.

I wasn't sure how much space you'd want. Is this good?

[ he's been a little busy you know :\ ]

This is enough. Should I leave my sword sheathed?

[ he doesn't have the faith in sol that he does in lune... and kara has no interest in turning a blade on someone who isn't ready for that yet, at least in sparring. ]

week 4, thursday

[we're going under the sakura tree today! mikazuki is already seated on a blanket beneath the tree, having conjured up some tea to go along with ookurikara's offering of manju

I wonder if I should have revealed my identity to you earlier.

[ somehow he isn't even surprised? same old jiji. ]

You wanted to keep it secret for a while longer.

week 5, tuesday

[hell yea more mochi. mikazuki is in the garden this time, helping himself to some. there's tea again, enough to serve two.

he looks up again at kara's approach and smiles]

He certainly has been busy, hasn't he? I am relieved he has ways to eat at his time...

[he is so fond of their dumb crane]

week 6, wednesday

[fuck yea dango

lune is just going to be happily helping himself as he sits in the garden - though he does seem to have a white lily at his side today]

Do remind me not to eat it all - I promised Tsurumaru that I would share with him the next time you offered me food.

Don't eat it all.

[ dry as a desert. kara isn't really in a mood for playing around, especially after seeing the flower, and he's pretty sure mikazuki knows it. ]

week 7, tuesday

[On Tuesday of Week 7, Ookurikara’s audience will be answered in the main hall. On a long, low black table in the center of the room, they'll find one long scroll that depicts his target this week. The handwriting is different from all other scrolls that have been on display in the village.]

week 7, friday

[lune is still enjoying a nice cup of tea along with the aburage when kara comes to find him in the garden on friday

and he glances over toward him]

You have my gratitude.

Even if it was a necessity, I imagine that it was not easy.

[ kara settles nearby, refusing to look at mikazuki as he sets his sword across his knees ]

It... went smoother than I expected. But it won't be that simple, if you need me again later.

week 8, tuesday

[mmmm manjuu. mikazuki is happily enjoying one, but seems to have set aside one on a separate plate, as if that'll remind him not to eat it

when ookurikara approaches he smiles]

[ he really wants to tell jiji to stop calling him that, but. he was captain, when he left his own citadel. ]

Why didn't you tell me you were from a different citadel?
