Morse code. Basically, all the letters are made up of dots and dashes? They used to use this to communicate with people out at sea and stuff.

[ this is a very simplified way of saying it. he taps on the floor ]

Minato wanted to learn it, and now he's roped me into it, too.

[God that word repetition. Anyway. He's busy looking at the paper, tuning it this way and that as if it's going to help him figure out what it actually says.]

Why does Minato want to learn so many weird things...[Just. Saying.] What's it say? How do you know what letter is which?

I think he just likes to keep busy so he doesn't have to think. [ like. blunt honesty, there. anyway-- ] There's a space between each letter.

[ he takes out a cheat sheet to hand to roxas ]

That would make sense, considering. [You know, considering how much everything sucks? But he's going to put the paper and the cheat sheet down in front of him to use a free hand to begin tapping letters out.

He has yet to let go of the ice cream.

The answer is "yes, I'll try" which he doesn't actually say and it means he's going to spend a few minutes working this out? Have fun sitting in silence while he tap-tap-tap, Axel. What does it actually say anyway...]

[Mom...it takes him a few minutes to figure it out and some of the letters come out wrong and he redoes it, but eventually he gets it.

You can keep the cheat sheet, though. I've got it memorized.

That doesn't surprise me. [But there's still a smile as he carefully folds both papers up and shoves them somewhere into his cloak.]

I have a bag of infinite spike balls and no idea what to do with 'em.

The prizes keep getting weirder and weirder. It came as a reward from that war, right? Like the sword Naminé and North had, or some of the other stuff.

Yep. So I'm probably gonna be giving you those for the rest of our stay here.

It's probably better for me to have them than to leave the out for somebody else to take them anyway.

Besides, as fun as it would be to get rid of him, I knew the guy wasn't corrupted.

Yeah, and that guy's crazy. That's like inviting him to fight you and stalk you even more even if he's not corrupted. And he's a cheater anyway.

[Not that this is about fairness but he refuses to be even remotely unbiased about Hisoka.]

He's already doing all of that anyway.

He kinda didn't give me an option before he threw the first punch. [So there's that, but he's just kind of frowning.]

He came to me to ask for information, I told him what I was supposed to tell him, and then he decided to fight me. "B is for Broker, A is for Attack." So I fought him until he got mad and gave up.

[Close enough.]
