Eventually. If I didn't Lune probably would've told me I had to anyway. But it was the only way to get him to stop playing around once I got close enough to disable it.

[Please don't praise him for being a shitty baby but also Hisoka deserved it, so he looked pleased for the time being.]

He hasn't come back since except for meeting with me and Lune for his job. Usually I let Lune talk to him since he's the one that picked him in the first place. [The smile fades though.]

...he's pretty strong though. And really fast. I can see why he likes fighting people in the first place.

Believe me, letting him get away with anything is not at the top of my priority list.

I would have asked the partner role to swap you with somebody, but...other things came up.

[Like making sure Xion didn't die. But it's a thought, and he frowns softly.] That's going to be the problem every week if this keeps happening.

Nope, nuh-huh. Leave that partner role alone with that. Pawning him off to someone else would just be worse.

While I agree with that, you know that people are going to start looking for somebody to blame when things get worse.

Anyway, he has friends. He could figure it out. [He doesn't feel like losing Axel if everybody goes rogue and votes for Hisoka to get rid of him anyway.]

Weird, right? I have a hard time believing it myself and maybe "friends" is a really loose word but I have no idea what else to call it. But there are people who actually tolerate him.

Minato also needs better taste in friends. I know his tastebuds are broken but that shouldn't be an excuse.

Well... there's really no accounting for taste. Besides, Minato's even more lost than you were in your zombie days. I think the guy needs like, a seventeen year long nap.

Not sure if that's a compliment to me or an insult to him. [Just a thought.] I think...there's something about Minato that's damaged and he doesn't know how to fix it. So he goes along with whatever seems fun to him. Even if it's with someone like Hisoka.

[Bad bad bad.] But I trust him to help us take care of Xion.
