Ah, yes. They are quite a fickle thing, are they not?

To be known by one name or another - they serve only a purpose to others to have a way to know you... but it can tell them very little about you at the same time.

But there are also things names can specifically convey... Like nicknames between friends or family.

... And then there's names that you choose for yourself. [ that's what she's most interested in, at the moment. you weirdo. ]

A fair amount - within its confines, we are able to make adjustments as we see fit.

Not a big one, not anything like changing a building. I was just curious.

The only real request I have is that I wish I could charge my phone.

An outlet in the house I'm saying in and a charging cord would be reeeaaally nice. Then I could use my phone to take photos and tell time.

But I understand if you can't do that.

... Yes and no. It's all I've got from home, and the stuff it can do makes me feel better. So in that sense, it's precious to me. And it has photos that are precious to me on it.

The phone itself would be replaceable back home, though.
