Mm, I don't know... We already had that festival... And even things like that can do more harm than good, since it's like you're trying to pretend people aren't dying and cover it up with something silly...
You're right. [Not that Sol minds celebrations like that but right now that seems strange.] I wish I had a better idea. Everything that's happening here seems to be okay by the universe since it keeps going, but I don't know what that really means.
[They pause.] Akane? Don't take this the wrong way, but why did you call me today?
[They're curious. They aren't under any disillusion that a lot of people go to Lune for things.]
Mm. Minato-kun and I are going to make a bunch of food for everyone, like a cooking contest between the two of us? But it's not like I'm doing it just to make people happy or anything. [ and since neither of them can fucking cook, she doesn't expect it to liven any moods. But...
Anyway. ]
... I was just thinking that it's been two weeks and I hadn't met you. That's all.
[They seem to perk up at the mention of Minato.] Of course not. [Why not? But...] It'd be nice to give Minato something to focus on, too, after everything. He's a good person.
[Sol is fond of Minato...but that answer is also an interesting one.]
...and I appreciate that. Usually people have things to ask, or they want to yell, so. [Shrug. They can be honest.] It's easier to talk to you guys one on one like this anyway.
[ A good person...? Good thing Akane is good at keeping up a smile, otherwise her expression might have soured at that. How do you tell when someone is a good person? What determines that? Is Sol making that kind of 'good person, bad person' judgment on all of them here...?
Well, all of that is reading way too far into it. So she's just smiling brightly! :) ]
We're both learning to cook and he wanted to make a big thing of it.
[ as for the other part... ] Do people yell at you less in private?
[Sol makes pretty snap decisions when it comes to people, so maybe don't ask them about that.
Akane...reminds them of someone though, and it's for that reason they're keeping the conversation neutral as they feel her out.]
That sounds right. He wanted to turn me into a cat. [So that is to say that Minato sometimes just does whatever he wants. Still, they think about that question question...and shake their head.]
Not really. But it's not that big of a deal anymore. Other people are nicer and as long as they're not yelling at Lune I don't care that much.
[ Akane hums at that last part--honestly she's a dick so she's not that interested in how people treat Sol. So she'll focus on the part she finds interesting. ]
A cat? Like with one of those headbands? He got one for me, too. But I guess you can't really wear headbands under those hoods, huh?
They don't want us to yet. [So yeah, they can't.] Lune thinks it's because the universe doesn't think our old identities are that important when it comes to stuff like this...or something. But they're kind of just there for now.
...if this is what the universe was planning, then none of you should have been brought here. [Are they mad? A little.] You're not doing so bad for being brought here unexpectedly, but it still shouldn't be a thing.
I agree, but I'm gonna say it again since people keep forgetting. This wasn't our choice. So. If you want me to say "it's our fault", that's not happening.
[This is probably why people go to Lune.] But yeah, I do. Otherwise you wouldn't be here in the first place.
I'm not really asking you to be. [How to explain...] That's why Lune and I are only here to be guides and we're not telling you what to do. You're allowed to do whatever you want. That's why it's always been your choice how the universe's core will be shaped.
But I think it's less about the universe and thinking about the bigger picture. How the universe impacts every other world out there.
[They...flip over their paper and start to draw. There's a circle in the center and they draw a "c" next to it. From there, they draw other random circles all over the page labeling them with things like "A", "L" and "S". They draw some lines so some worlds connect to others, but others aren't connected at all. But they're all connected to the center dot.]
What happens here will impact other worlds, including your own. And what happens in your worlds will impact other worlds. And on and on.

I dunno. I'm still going to try and all that, but morale is pretty low.
no subject
I noticed. [They tap the crayon on the paper. ] So. What do you think might raise morale while we're stuck?

Yeah. It doesn't really stay on that well, but he tried. The hoods are sort of annoying that way.
no subject
[ She's sure they can't, but. It's worth asking, at least? ]
no subject
no subject
[ She's just throwing that out there as a complaint, not trying to convince Sol. She gets that he can't help it. ]
no subject
[Shrug! Shit sucks, text it.]
But maybe someday.
no subject
[ And since she gave her thoughts: ]
... So what do you think, now that you've seen how we're doing?
no subject
...if this is what the universe was planning, then none of you should have been brought here. [Are they mad? A little.] You're not doing so bad for being brought here unexpectedly, but it still shouldn't be a thing.
no subject
Do you think we're doing well? Do you think we can actually accomplish whatever we're here for, like Lune-san does?
no subject
[This is probably why people go to Lune.] But yeah, I do. Otherwise you wouldn't be here in the first place.
no subject
I'm not blaming you. There's something or someone above you. Right?
no subject
Yeah. There is. But until I get a better sense of what it wants I want to stay on its good side.
no subject
But me and everyone else are out here dying, so I don't think I can be as sensitive to it.
no subject
But I think it's less about the universe and thinking about the bigger picture. How the universe impacts every other world out there.
no subject
[ Oops that came out pretty harsh. ]
