As The Crescent:
Every Monday, the Crescent will meet with the Signs and be given the opportunity to grant one other player immunity for the week. This immunity will allow the player to live for that week even if they are chosen as a victim by the Corrupted.

Should the Crescent choose to protect someone and that person is selected as a victim, however, the Crescent's name will be provided as the victim and they will die in that week to protect the chosen player.

The Crescent will also be allowed to submit a name for a victim in order to protect someone else. If they are concerned that someone they wish to protect will be chosen by the Corrupted, they may enact a trade to sacrifice another player. While there is no guarantee that the name they've offered will be chosen, this action will earn favor among the Signs.

The choice must be made at the time of the meeting. The Crescent only gets one meeting per week and they must choose wisely if they wish to protect someone and risk their own life, or offer someone as a failsafe sacrifice. (i.e. "I would like to protect X" versus "should X be chosen by the Corrupted, I would like to substitute Y.")

When the Signs seek to summon the Crescent, a portal will appear when they finds themselves alone. Upon entering the portal, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. The Crescent will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea Room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.

Additional notes:
The Crescent will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the game and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to the Signs' discretion.

I'd say I brought at least a large part of it on to myself. If I was assigning percentages, it would be at least an 80% share.

[She sighs, and shakes her head.]

I will be fine. Moreover, how are you doing? I suppose nothing has changed for this week beyond the usual? Although, I can't say I enjoy that this schedule is... becoming normal.

80% is a lot, but at least it's over. We can only improve from here. [Still, everyone needs to leave Milla alone.]

I'm not too happy this is becoming a normal thing either, but...we're getting better. We're getting some more answers about how this stuff works and at least this week we managed to minimize our damage.

Yes. After that, there is really only "up", isn't there. [yeesh.]

Are we? I'm happy to hear someone say that. From within, it is genuinely hard to tell—but I suppose yourself and Lune will have more of a grasp on the situation at large than any of us will from within.

What advice would you give me, if any at all?

I think we are. It might not feel like it, but before this Lune and I didn't even have ways to purify people other than...y'know. So to know there are things out there we can find and use if we look and knowing that clearing the corruption in these gateways is helping? That means a lot.

But if I had to give advice...[Welll...] You mean for this job? Or for this situation?

That is a fair point. Thank you for giving us all something to continue to believe in.

Perhaps both. I would not shy away from any advice or words, were you to offer them, Sol. I believe you have a good head on your body, as the saying goes.

That's...not quite how the saying goes, but I get it. As for advice...my advice is always to talk to other people and don't be afraid to share information with those you trust. You have people you trust by now, don't you?

...I do not generally tend to share my thoughts. But I cannot tell others it is better to work as a team, if I do not do so myself.

Good. That's a start. [...] I've never been really great at sharing my thoughts either, so I get it. It's hard to know who, exactly, you can trust in situations like these when you don't know who might become corrupted or anything like that.

But I think you have good instincts. It's part of why Lune picked you, I bet.

I truly hope I can live up to those expectations, Sol.

People here act very differently. I will do my best to use the instincts I possess to feel out who is best to rely on.

Just don't get discouraged if they act differently than what you once thought. People are very complicated when it comes to things like emotions and understanding. You can't give up when things are hard.

No, of course not.

If anything, I am often discouraged by my own self. I can already see others around me growing rapidly—if anything, I should strive to catch up to them.

[That seems surprising coming from her.] You don't think you've grown or anything here? What is it about others that makes you think trying growing faster than you are?

Hmm... I suppose feel as though I am often stuck in my own pace.

But it is by no means a hindrance. On the contrary, the energy of others around me encourages me to work harder. I do not want to disappoint--no. I want to be the best version of myself I am able to be.

[cyclists]

You and me both...it's why I look up to some of you guys. [Just throwing that out there.] A lot of you are really persistent when it comes to stuff. It's nice to see.

Look up to? Many look up to you as well, Sol.

Perhaps your feelings could better be described as... healthy, mutual respect and admiration?

Mm...I think there's a difference between looking to me for answers and looking up to somebody because you respect them. I'm not so sure it's the same yet. But as long as you guys are starting to mutually respect each other, maybe we can lessen the damage here. It's a thought, anyway.

You believe mutual respect is so important a play, here? Of course, I agree, but...

What of people who have potentially killed without corruption...? How would you approach such a scenario?

I'd try to talk to them and find out why. Killing without corruption means there's a motivation, and I'd like to know what that motivation is. Wouldn't you?

But, a question: what if their motivation is something dark, but still seperate from the corruption? Ideally, I know how I would handle such a thing. But this core, the universe... I wonder what it desires.

From what I understand the core is still learning. It can be shaped and influenced by all of you. So...if the motivations are sinister or whatever then you put people in a place where their influence can't reach. Take away the power. Stuff like that.

I see. In that case, would mercy be preferable to justice, I wonder...

I can't answer that since the answer is different for everyone. But for me...sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the greater good. And that includes not always bringing people to justice. It sucks, but sometimes that gray area is just a little too hard to ignore.
