Corona

Every Tuesday, the Corona will meet with the Signs and be presented with three choices to help or hinder the game's progress. This may include items, effects, scenarios or more. However, they will not be provided any further information about these choices and their results will vary. They will have to pick wisely.

Should the Corona choose to not pick at all, the Signs will pick for them instead and inflict a punishment on the Corona.

When the Signs seeks to summon the Corona, a portal will appear when they find themselves alone. Upon entering the door, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. The Corona will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.

Additional notes:
The Corona will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the games and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to the Signs' discretion.

WEEK 2

[cyclists]

[On Tuesday of Week 2, the Corona will find themselves drawn into a portal that brings them into the tea room. The long, low black table in the center of the room is empty for now.

When they look up, Sol and Lune will be present and available for questions.]

SOL

[cyclists]

[leaberator]

[ he's staring at the words for a long time before looking at sol ]

Is this some kinda reverse psychology thing? Because these are terrible.

[cyclists]

Tell me about it. [He's not thrilled either?] But don't psyche yourself out so much. I don't think any of these would really hurt anybody.

[Sol has zero idea, this is all wishful thinking on his part.]

[leaberator]

You jinxed it. Now one of these is gonna rain blood on everyone.

[ is he joking? is he serious? A mystery. ]

[cyclists]

Gross...and yet somehow that could still work. Just tell everybody to stay inside. [No.]

[leaberator]

Oh yeah. Me as the new weatherman. That'll be subtle.

[cyclists]

It's probably not gonna rain blood so don't even worry about it.

[leaberator]

[ no he's STILL WORRIED? ]

Easy for you to say.

[ but he's obviously thinking about the choice anyway, so it's time for twenty questions: life edition ]

Hey, any new info from the universe this week? Like... on what to do about the growing number of corrupted?

[leaberator]

[ to make things different, lune gets a real question! ]

Hey, can I just ask, does the universe enjoy messing with me too?

[ well. eventually. his entire life is a comedy set up ]

You do make for a rather simple target.

Do you feel yourself a bit... toyed with?

[leaberator]

A-- hey! [ NO WAIT HE'S OFFENDED NOW ] Whaddaya mean "simple"?

[there's a pleased laugh at that]

Is it not said that it is the simple things that make life worth living?

[leaberator]

Things, not people. No one wants to be called "simple", y'know.

lune merely laughs at that and again reaches out axel's face - the backs of his fingers brushing against the curve of his jaw]

Then perhaps -

he's not sure what's most upsetting: the touch or just. the entirety. of what lune just said. Wow. That. Sure Is A Lot Of Wrong Words, there. ]

... Kinda makes me feel like I gave you the wrong impression, mostly.

[ maybe a decade ago, but-- easy to trust? straightforward? he feels like laughing in all the wrong ways ]

CHOICE

The choices this week are Battle, Calamity and Purgatory.

[ well, you can take the fighter out of the fight but you can't take the fight out of the fighter, so-- ]

I'll pick Battle.

[ it's very unfortunate he did not get to pick this AFTER the mini-event, wow. ]

[cyclists]

[No sooner does Axel make his choice that a scroll drops on the table. Sol grabs for it, reading it over before nodding to himself and tucking the scroll away.]

...do you trust me? [Bad question.]

[leaberator]

[ ... ]

You know I do. [ there's really no other answer. but... ] Exactly how awful is that scroll?

[cyclists]

It's actually not that bad, but I don't know how to describe it. It's something you'll have to wait for though...just in case we have another trial.

[leaberator]

Wait, you're seriously not gonna tell me until there's another trial?

[ NOT THAT BAD + TRIAL IS VERY MIXED EMOTIONS, SON? ]

[cyclists]

[SIGH.]

It'll help. It'll be a sign from the universe to help you figure out who your corrupted might be if there's another trial.

[Let him believe nobody will do a stab this weekend.] But it'll definitely be a good thing.

[leaberator]
