[It was faster than trying to send notes back and forth. When Valvatorez enters the main hall, he'll find Sol sitting in their chair at the head of the room. They don't seem to be in a rush to go anywhere, curiously looking Valvatorez over in thought.]

I think I should be asking you that question myself.

[hello Val, lune will be in the dining hall today. it appears as though they are not dining, but rather have an assortment of flowers next to them on the table and a rectangular box where they are beginning to arrange them. there is also a seashell.

anyway they will pause when Val approaches]

You made quite a bold statement today.

[Today, Sol can be found seated next to the river by the sakura tree. They're watching little offering lanterns float downstream, but as Val approaches they speak up.]

Was it really so close, you think?

[Sol is in the garden today and seems to be watching the koi fish. When Val approaches, they look up and lift a hand to greet him.]

So it did. Are you happy?

[lune is in the main hall - their gaze focused on the swirling portal that currently beckons others to the mini-event. whether it's before or after the war that val comes to see them, lune will still be seated there, enjoying a cup of tea]

How may I serve you, my friend?

[The note went unanswered for a day. For once, Sol doesn't immediately reply and when Valvatorez finds himself approaching the volcano in the fire region he'll see Sol perched on a rock platform inside, apparently nice and cozy.]

One out of three. Do you feel like it was a victory?

[whenever val wakes up presumably!! lune will be in the library, looking over the copy of twilight that they've been given, and look up when val approaches]

Did you make these notes yourself?

[Today, Sol is sitting in one of the classrooms and waiting for Val. It looks like he's reading a book, but when Val enters he earmarks the page and closes it.]

How are things?

[Sol waits for Val in the library today and seems to have a small object in his hand. The prinny doll sits on the table in front of him though.]

Finished already?

[And so Sol waits at the beach like Val originally wanted, but he's quiet and doesn't speak up when Val approaches. He seems to be waiting to see what he'll say.]
