I've heard of people adapting during battles and when they go to new places, but it's never been clear just how it's done.

It drains some points out of my SP bar when I use my dragon form.

Think of it like the measure of energy. You use that for any kind of magic once it's drained you can't use magic until you recover it somehow.

Ohh...we don't have anything called an SP but I think I get it. We have to watch our magic, too, before we run out entirely.

Different places may call it different things. But the concept seems the same.
