I'm training Akane, Kaoru, and Four on he basics of swordsmanship. Some of them are taking better to it than others.

Milla's learning how to cook, and learned how to splint a limb, and Namine's learning how to make prinny dolls.

[Like the one that's sitting with Sol.]

[There's a nod.] That counts, then. Congratulations. I was kind of thinking four different skills, but I'll count Milla's because it's two for one person.

But you remember what I said? [The doll gets a pat at least.]

I would've taught spearfighting, but most people seem to prefer swords.

[Please, spears have better range.]

I do. I can't be rewarded for my second task before I finish my first.

[cyclists]

I don't think I've ever fought with a spear either, but that doesn't sound so bad. Swords are a little easier to carry though.

[There's a nod.] This week was a little bit of a set-back without a trial to complete your task, but it's kind of also a victory. No one was lost this week and that's the important part.

[omegathree]

They're my two favorite weapons. Spears are a bit more difficult to conceal unless they collapse.

I'm happier to know nobody died, even if I can't finish my task as quickly.

[cyclists]

I've never seen a collapsing spear, but I'd believe that.

If nobody dies, then your task is kind of useless anyway. Maybe this is for the better.

[omegathree]

I'd be thrilled if it continued, but I don't have high hopes.

[cyclists]

I know I'm supposed to be encouraging everyone, but...neither do I. I'd rather be realistic than caught off-guard.

But it's not so bad to relax once in a while before we get back to work.

[omegathree]

It's important to be honest when you can. Especially when it comes to yourself.

[cyclists]

Lune and I aren't allowed to be as honest as we'd like due to how the universe works, but at the same time...we're doing what we can. I don't want to discourage people from trying to find ways to make the universe work in their favor even if we can't.

[omegathree]

Yes, the universe does seem to be continuously difficult. Especially for you two.

[He sighs a bit.]

I've heard from Namine you think the universe is hiding something dark of its own, and Shess received a message from Tsurumaru saying that the way to clear the corruption is to kill everyone here.

Neither of us is willing to believe that's the only option we have.

...I was wondering if that information made its way to you yet. Did Shess says he heard anything else?

[omegathree]

If he has, I haven't heard about it yet. We're trying to see who else has that information.

[cyclists]

We're trying to encourage you guys to share as much as possible, so it's all I can really hope for by now.

[omegathree]

Do you think there are other options outside of a total player kill?

[cyclists]

That's what I'm hoping. We're still trying to find a work-around.

[omegathree]

We'll look too, but I don't know how much we'll be able to find.

[cyclists]

You might find more than you think so long as you continue to look.

Any ideas on where to start looking?

The gateways? That seems to have been working out so far.

The gateways that only a few people go through?

That's just a part of the gateways, I mean as a whole.

You two do say there's darkness in them.

It's a matter of finding it.

[cyclists]

If there wasn't some amount of darkness, or something that could help, we wouldn't receive the coordinates for these particular gateways, I think.

[omegathree]

Something that could help, well people have been bringing back those items.

The darkness at the core is extending into the gateways... Is that right?

Are we cutting it off when we find it there? Or is it infecting us?
