We had a little more than that. Maybe I just got so used to it that being in a place without it is weird.

Um...fire, water, ice, thunder, cure, time, wind...some other stuff? It depends on who you are and what you've learned.

I'm familiar with certain people being able to harness certain magic better than others.

Yeah. Like stopping things? That sort of power. [They nod.] How good are you with magic normally?

That seems like it should be covered under ice.

Terrible. I don't naturally learn any elemental magic.

[cyclists]

If you aren't learning, then how are you using it?

But I have a comrade who's stats are better for casting.

It's getting easier to use.

A little. Lune and I are sorting out what can be said and what can't be yet. Stupid, isn't it?

[A nod.] Lune and I...we can't get back to you on time because the darkness makes it impossible for us to navigate. But we have an ability that allows us to see what we missed.

...it's an optimistic way of looking at it, even if it doesn't feel that optimistic.
