[There's a mouthful of ice cream which gives them time to stall in answering. On the other hand, that's sweet.]

...we'll be okay. I'm not going to let anything happen to Lune, and I don't think he'll let anything happen to me either. I trust him. But Naminé...if there was something we could do even if it meant trouble for us...wouldn't that be better to make sure everybody gets an answer?

Do you think that something like that might happen?

[ ... she already knows what her personal answer would be, but she's curious if this really is just a hypothetical question. ]

Maybe. [They don't like it, but they're also bracing themselves for whatever.] Lune and I are following the guidance of the universe, but both of us want more, I think. It's...not a great option, but it's not just about us now. It's everyone.

[whitewalls]

... just don't do anything reckless, okay?

[ she knows that's a lot to ask for, but she's still worried. someone is already dead. ]

[cyclists]

...okay. [There's no promise, but in the end they draw with their black crayon and start creating a scribble of something or other.]

What do you think about what happened today?

[whitewalls]

[ she watches him, before reaching for a blue crayon. ]

... I'm not sure. It feels really surreal.

Like it shouldn't be happening? [They seem to be drawing a weird little hill...]

[whitewalls]

The thing is, we don't know what should or shouldn't be happening here. We don't know anything.

[ it's not like she can say this isn't the point of all of this. ]

[cyclists]

Don't remind me. [Quietly, because that's a bitter point for them.] But it still feels wrong. Why would you be brought here if this is what could have happened?

[The black hill turns into a river with little black boats.] I wish we could have stopped this. That's all.

[whitewalls]

... we'll try to stop it from happening again.

[ which will be easier once they know how it happened at all. ]

I don't want to see anyone else hurt.

[cyclists]

Me either. [...this is depressing, so there's a pause as they think of what to say.]

Hey, Naminé. What's your favorite thing to draw anyway?

[whitewalls]

My favorite thing to draw...

[ hm.

she puts the crayon against the paper and starts to scribble something as well. ]

I haven't really thought about it.

[cyclists]

[There's the river and the boats and they're actually watching what Naminé's drawing instead, but the hood sort of blocks where their gaze is.]

Really? […well, no, that makes sense.] What do you draw the most of then?

[whitewalls]

... a boy named Sora.

[ it's very odd to admit that with no context. ]

[cyclists]

[That. Is kind of a weird thing to admit, and they debate how to address that. Drawing one person the most...]

...a friend of yours?

[whitewalls]

... maybe.

[ she decides to draw water. ]

It's a little complicated.

[cyclists]

[At least Naminé's water is the right color and this is why she's the artist. They seem to recall what she's said before about friends, and about how she views people and the like. They shouldn't pry, but it's better than thinking about death.

Complicated how? Who is he...?

[whitewalls]

He's someone who's very important where I'm from. Light and darkness... the concept isn't too different from what I'm used to.

[ she'll reach for a different shade of blue. ]

[cyclists]

I see...[Well that's bad.] Light and darkness are kind of familiar to me and where I'm from, too. I think that's why this place asked me to stay.

[whitewalls]

That would make sense.

[ she'll add the other blue into the water too. ]

Sora has a very powerful heart. He's the one who'll save everyone.

[cyclists]

Hearing something like that? It makes me wonder why he's not here.

[whitewalls]

... I wonder that too. He'd be a better choice than I am.

[ she's reaching for the green now. ]

[cyclists]

[This just in, everyone in KH has crappy self-esteem. They don't respond to that immediately, watching her draw as their hand goes still.]

There's this girl I know. She doesn't really know how to fight or anything, but she did something really, really important for all of us back home. Even though it probably scared her and people didn't want her to interfere and ruin their plans, she did it anyway.

You sort of remind me of her. [Back to drawing they go.] Even if there are people you think who could be better, I think there are still things you could do.

[whitewalls]

She sounds like a nice girl.

[ she glances up with the paper to look at them. not being able to see someone's face because of a hood isn't unknown to her, but this is one of the moments where she kind of wishes she could reach over and pull it down. ]

... but we'll see. I'll still try my best, regardless of my capabilities.

[cyclists]

She is. She deserved a happy ending, too, just like the rest of us. [They don't clarify if "us" is the people they know or the people here, but maybe it doesn't make a huge difference. Black flowers are being drawn on the page now. This is apparently just a lot of places in the village but in black crayon and not great skill.]
