...it feels like I've learned so much and I still don't understand anything at all.

Lune and I were alone for a while, and I thought that would be it. When you guys showed up it surprised both of us. But none of you should have been brought here. It wasn't fair.

[whitewalls]

I think we would rather be here to support you.

[cyclists]

Maybe, but that doesn't make things right and you know that. Especially when things were finally over back home. Everybody was supposed to get a break.

[whitewalls]

... we'll take a very long break when this is done.

I'd still rather you not have to deal with this on your own.

Yeah...it'll be great.

[Still though.] I won't lie, I'm still kind of mad all of this happened at all. We have other things to be doing, but I couldn't really say no when the universe asked either. I just wish it was faster in answering us.

[whitewalls]

It's... inconvenient.

But now that we're here, we might as well do a good job of it.

[He turns his head to look at her.] Yeah...we're doing okay so far even if this isn't the way things should be done.

[There are a lot of dead people.]

I wonder why this was the way we're supposed to do it?

It's weird right? I don't get it either because it's different than how things usually work. Why this? Why not something else? And it's like I've been saying, if you wanted to get rid of the darkness why take away something that would help?

It's kind of like it's going out of its way to make this a difficult process for us, despite it wanting our help...

[ she is (vine voice) confusion ]

I'm starting to wonder if it even really wants our help. But we're doing it anyway.

If it doesn't then... what's even the point of bringing us all here?

[cyclists]

That's what I'm trying to find out. If something else is wrong, then...how do we fix it?

[whitewalls]

That would be hard to figure out if we're not even aware of it.

[ she sits up ]

For what reason would there be to withhold this much information?

[He stays laying down but he's watching her, working out a thought or two.]

...the same reason anything like this would happen. They want us to do something specific, and if we don't know what's going on we're more likely to do it.

[whitewalls]

... so, if we did know, then we might not do it? Or we wouldn't be able to?

Right. Like...[How to explain...]

Naminé. What were we always told about being Nobodies?

We don't have hearts? We're not supposed to exist?

[ there are a few things and they're all mean? ]

Yeah. But...that's not true. It's been possible for us to grow new hearts all along. We could have been whole on our own without trying to complete Kingdom Hearts, but Xemnas--Xehanort would have never told us that. Or we wouldn't have kept working.

[whitewalls]

... so there's probably some sort of catch that would make us more hesitant or refuse to help if we knew.

[ that makes a lot of sense. ]

We just need to figure out what.

That's what worries me. What's going to be so bad that when we find out we won't do it..? And why didn't they just tell us when Lune and I first arrived?
