It's weird right? I don't get it either because it's different than how things usually work. Why this? Why not something else? And it's like I've been saying, if you wanted to get rid of the darkness why take away something that would help?

It's kind of like it's going out of its way to make this a difficult process for us, despite it wanting our help...

That would be hard to figure out if we're not even aware of it.

...the same reason anything like this would happen. They want us to do something specific, and if we don't know what's going on we're more likely to do it.

Yeah. But...that's not true. It's been possible for us to grow new hearts all along. We could have been whole on our own without trying to complete Kingdom Hearts, but Xemnas--Xehanort would have never told us that. Or we wouldn't have kept working.

[whitewalls]

... so there's probably some sort of catch that would make us more hesitant or refuse to help if we knew.

[ that makes a lot of sense. ]

We just need to figure out what.

That's what worries me. What's going to be so bad that when we find out we won't do it..? And why didn't they just tell us when Lune and I first arrived?

[whitewalls]

... because it was probably something that you two wouldn't want to do either.

[cyclists]

There are very few things I wouldn't want to do and we're already running into a bunch of them. The rest of them aren't so great either. [He looks at the watermelon.]
