[Give him a second, he's summoning what looks like a large cutting board so they can throw this watermelon on the ground.] Think this is big enough?

[ she inspects it... then nods. ]

Uh huh! Let's do it. On the count of three?

[cyclists]

Yeah. One...two...three! [And down goes the watermelon!!

...it only sort of cracks.]

Huh?

[whitewalls]

Oh...

[ she kneels down to poke it ]

Do we try again?

Maybe. The shell's pretty hard...think we have to throw it even harder? What if I hold the board so it doesn't slip and you throw it? Can you carry it?

[whitewalls]

Mmhm.

[ this just seems like an idea that will lead to roxas getting hit by a watermelon but that's fine i guess

she'll go to pick up the melon ]

[cyclists]

[This is asking Roxas to have some foresight and that's not possible right now. Instead, he's holding the board steady!]

Okay. Count of three. One...two...three! [Please throw a melon that explodes in his face.]

[whitewalls]

[ SHE SLAMS THAT WATERMELON TO THE GROUND ]

[It was already cracked and that means the watermelon definitely explodes this time, splattering into chunks on the board and also spraying juice in Roxas's face. He lets go of the board and frantically tries to wipe it off of his face.]

That worked! [It was just gross!]

[whitewalls]

We did it!

[ she claps her hands together happily, and then pauses ]

... I have a towel.

[cyclists]

A towel might be good. [But even as he says this he's reaching forward to pick up a piece of smashed melon to eat it.] ...it tastes good.

[whitewalls]

[ instead of grabbing a towel she's just going to

also get melon, it's fine ]

[He'll deal. The melon is tasty and Roxas is pretty pleased.]

I've been wanting to do this for a while. I'm glad it was with you.

[whitewalls]

[ she didn't think she'd get invited so. this is nice. ]

I know the situation is far from the best, but I'm happy we can spend time together.

[cyclists]

Me too. [He seems genuine about that, settling down on the sand again to eat another piece of melon.] ...we get to spend lots of time together in the future, too. All of us, doing stuff just like this. It's what I'm looking forward to when we get to go home.

[whitewalls]

[ axel had said that they were trying to get her back, but they haven't yet. so the actual confirmation that they didn't forget her is...

she takes another bite. ]

I can't wait. It sounds like a dream.

[cyclists]

It's real. [Thankfully.] We get to go to the beach and play with everybody and...things are better. Just like they should've been. [And then Sora dies but like he doesn't say that.]

[whitewalls]

[ ROXAS!!!! TELL HER ABOUT SORA!!!!!!! ]

So... we should definitely practice playing on the beach here to prepare for that.

Exactly! All of us...we can take a whole day to come down here together. I could summon a frisbee and we could look for seashells and stuff.

[whitewalls]

That'll be nice. I think we need some time to ourselves.

[ instead of all of their group meetings being when something terrible happens. ]

Uh huh. And you haven't really gotten to know everybody else that well, have you? That would be good, too.

[It's possible he just wants all of his friends in one spot.]

I try... I'm pretty sure there are some people who don't really want to talk to me though.

[ she attempted to befriend cinnabar and it went poorly ]

Yeah, I think it's the same for me. [People are just Like This.] But that's why we have to keep trying, right? If we're all here, it's for the best.

[whitewalls]

... yeah.

If we're together, then we can definitely fix everything. I believe in us.

[cyclists]

I hope you're right. [He looks at the watermelon again.] Here, help me eat this. I didn't think there'd be so much of it.
