For now. [Things Sol isn't saying: they haven't actually tried.] I don't think we're really supposed to be hanging out here without some kind of purpose.

What, like a mission?

Something like that. [They swing their feet idly, and yeah, they're not quite touching the ground because that's sort of funny.] Maybe not a mission, but...I dunno.

I don't know if a lot of people would really be okay with us just showing up unannounced in the first place.

[leaberator]

It'd probably be less weird than you guys only showing up when something big is happening.

That's true...[Sol is going to consider that for a bit.] If you really wanted to hang out more you could just say so.

She said you guys are from the same place. But...I dunno. [How to phrase this...] I want her to be safe, but she's not really practicing with her powers.

[A pointed stare from under the hood. Maybe Axel will just understand what Sol's getting at here.]

[ but how'd he wind up teaching so many people... ]

Thanks. I would really appreciate it. I'd offer to train with her myself, but...we don't really have the same things.

[Give it a moment, they're going to hold out their hand and stare at it before a teacup appears in their hand. They put it down on the bench between them and Axel before they repeat the motion, this time summoning a rubik's cube.

axel picks up the teacup idly, turning it over in his hands. ]

Huh. [ interesting. ] ... Hey, doesn't that mean you didn't need to look for your favorite ice cream flavor in this place? Couldn't you have just made some?

[ Priorities ]

Maybe I'll try some other time. I don't know if I'd get the flavor right. [Don't at them wtf.]

Practice it on your down time. Maybe you can show me when you figure it out.

Maybe I will. [They're gonna.] Until then? I'll leave the ice cream up to you.

[And even though Axel, like, didn't really ask, they volunteer another piece of information regarding their powers.] That's not the only thing though.

Yeah. I haven't used it yet but it could be useful if things get out of hand. I don't want to have to use it, but if people are misusing their powers or anything...I can turn them off.
