Yeah, I wasn't supposed to. [It was a loophole and it's why he hasn't lately. He's trying to play nice with the universe. But the blank look is a little confusing, and he lets Axel take it.]

Well, that's silly.

[ axel doesn't have to play nice with the universe and so, he won't, and he will call it out. he twirls the mini keyblade idly between his fingers ]

Maybe. [He's watching the keyblade.] Even if the magic's not there, you can still wield it. And I can make Xion's and my own, too, if I get the sizing perfect.

[leaberator]

I'm not that good at it even with the magic. [ there's something in the tone that makes it sound off even as a joke, and he pockets it with a laugh ] Well, yet, compared to all you old hands. I'm gonna be way behind on my Master training when we get back.

[cyclists]

We can get you up to speed. [Literally not even going to defend Axel about not being as good as they are. He sounds like he's teasing just a little though.] We'll make you practice every day. No slacking off.

[ he shakes his head ]

Anyway, I did come here for something that wasn't to tell ya to stop adopting pets.

I figured. [Factual. But he doesn't mind.] What's going on?

[leaberator]

Couple of things. But let's start with the easy one. That recorder thingy... Any chance it can come with headphones during the trial?

[ he doesn't explain why yet ]

[cyclists]

Headphones? [Uh. That's…hm.] I don't know. Maybe? Why?

[That seems a little weird.]

[leaberator]

Well, first of all, to not traumatize everyone with the dyin' sounds of people they know. [ ... and, after a bit ] And since we don't know if I can pick which one it'll be, I'd rather not share it if it's about Julius.

[cyclists]

[…] You know you have the option to not use the thing, don't you? It's your item, you can do whatever you want with it.

And for headphones you'd probably have to do a task.

[leaberator]

... We still got Cinnabar's to solve. I'm gonna try without, but... if we're pressed for it, I gotta at least consider it.

[ he tilts his head ]

Sure. Shoot.

[cyclists]

True. [There's a pause.] Find one person who still doesn't know about the potential end the others have been relaying and discuss it with them. There's a handful of them left.

[leaberator]

[ there's a beat ]

... Well, I was planning on telling Xion anyway.

[cyclists]

...okay. Do it, and I'll have headphones for you tomorrow if you decide to use it.

[He maybe didn't think that all the way through but okay, that's fine.]

[leaberator]

Besides, at this rate... If no one else comes forward with it, and we still don't have another answer come Monday, I was planning on spilling the beans about it publicly.

[leaberator]

[ he looks curious beneath the grin, though ]

... What changed your mind on it?

[cyclists]

It's not really that I changed my mind. It's just that it should be something you choose on your own, whatever the motivation might be. [Wednesday kneads into his shoulder as the dragon continues gnawing on the fish. Sol's attention is on that instead.]

...but I think we're running out of options.

[leaberator]

... Yeah. You and me both.

[ he stares at the dragon himself ]

Roxas... What are we gonna do?

[ it's we but. roxas doesn't really have a say, does he? ]

[cyclists]

[...he doesn't have an answer. So he's silent for a moment, thinking it over.]

...I don't know. Everything we've done isn't good enough. So how...[...] I don't know what to do.

[leaberator]

[ "everything we've done isn't good enough" ... doesn't that hit the nail on the head for how it feels? ]

Everyone's talking about making lists and trying to figure out what everyone would want, like it's so easy, but... We still don't even know if there's any conditions to that "last one standing" thing besides not being corrupted. That's what I'm worried about.

[cyclists]

[...] We might get more information to clear that. But then they won't be able to relay that to you until at least Wednesday, and by then that's leaving too much time before someone else might get corrupted or killed.

In the end...it all comes back to that. [...] There's something I have to show you, too.

[leaberator]

The corruption won't give us a break, huh?

[ he looks towards roxas with a frown ]

[He shakes his head, but he's also...just slowly lowering his hood. When he turns and makes eye contact with Axel, Axel's immediately treated to a memory all the way to 30:01. The fighting seems sped up, but the point is he gets all the dialogue up to "let's go show Axel" or what-have-you.
