[He maybe didn't think that all the way through but okay, that's fine.]

Besides, at this rate... If no one else comes forward with it, and we still don't have another answer come Monday, I was planning on spilling the beans about it publicly.

It's not really that I changed my mind. It's just that it should be something you choose on your own, whatever the motivation might be. [Wednesday kneads into his shoulder as the dragon continues gnawing on the fish. Sol's attention is on that instead.]

...but I think we're running out of options.

[leaberator]

[ he stares at the dragon himself ]

[ it's we but. roxas doesn't really have a say, does he? ]

...I don't know. Everything we've done isn't good enough. So how...[...] I don't know what to do.

[ "everything we've done isn't good enough" ... doesn't that hit the nail on the head for how it feels? ]

Everyone's talking about making lists and trying to figure out what everyone would want, like it's so easy, but... We still don't even know if there's any conditions to that "last one standing" thing besides not being corrupted. That's what I'm worried about.

[cyclists]

[...] We might get more information to clear that. But then they won't be able to relay that to you until at least Wednesday, and by then that's leaving too much time before someone else might get corrupted or killed.

[leaberator]

The corruption won't give us a break, huh?

[ he looks towards roxas with a frown ]

[He shakes his head, but he's also...just slowly lowering his hood. When he turns and makes eye contact with Axel, Axel's immediately treated to a memory all the way to 30:01. The fighting seems sped up, but the point is he gets all the dialogue up to "let's go show Axel" or what-have-you.

[ meanwhile, roxas can have this lovely memory, ignoring the demyx parts because he was dead in real canon.




he looks up at the sky ]

[ WHAT MURDER MEMORY? LOL ]

[He was in the middle of saying "that again?" but then Axel's memory shows up.

And. Haha. Hahahaha.]

What was that? [Excuse him, he's alarmed and he's just going to sit up and almost dislodge his cat.] Why...?

A half-baked plan going about as well as expected? [ he waves it off ] You never told me you used a stick to help Xion get her Keyblade back.

And you never told me Saix stabbed you. [This is apparently a bigger deal than the stick!!!] Also, how we got Xion's Keyblade back wasn't important, we just did it.

What plan? What was going on? Why did Kairi throw meatballs at you?

I didn't tell you because it didn't matter. I kidnapped her, and then she got away from me and the Organization got her, so I tried to fix it.

[cyclists]

Why did you even kidnap her--you're going to tell me it doesn't matter, aren't you. [Flatly. Oh so flatly.

[leaberator]

[ ... he sighs ] It doesn't, Roxas. It's not like I thought things through that much. It was some kind of-- half-baked thought that it'd help me see you again.

[cyclists]

[Oh. Well that shuts him for a second. That definitely sounds like a stupid idea, but...]

...and then after that...[...] ...with Sora. [...oh. Oh no, what if he doesn't come to that conclusion? Ever? Even if he doesn't know all of the details it's not that hard to figure out the chain of events.]

[leaberator]

... You know about that?

[ it's difficult to tell, exactly how much Roxas could see through Sora, if anything at all. He's never actually asked, either. Axel shrugs, looking away. ]

I toldja. Can't turn on the Organization without some consequences. He'd been dogging me ever since I didn't come back from Twilight Town. I got sloppy and he got me. But it's not like he finished the job, so who's the real sloppy one?

[cyclists]

Not everything. Not all of the details, but...[Maybe that's not important. He knows something happened that involved Sora and involved Axel and suddenly Axel didn't exist and there's the weird heart thing that happened and Kingdom Hearts is a mess? It's a mess.]

Who finished the job, Axel? [Just. He's not thrilled, and actually he looks very unhappy, but maybe don't make jokes about this my guy.]
