COMETS;
Comets

Comets will be called on by Sol and Lune only when they need someone eliminated. Murders must not be made outside of their knowledge and the Comets will not be able to refuse an assignment. Sometimes Comets may be asked to work together, but often times they will have to act alone. However, both Comets must be in attendance when the Signs have an assignment.
When the Signs seek to summon Comets, a portal will appear when a Comet finds themselves alone. Upon entering the portal, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. Comets will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea Room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.
Outside of Sign-requested kills, Comets may participate in the game as normal including fulfilling their objectives and using their gifts.
Comets will be able to kill without being put on trial so long as it is a Sign-ordered kill. Any kills Comets make outside of a request are eligible for trial.
What does this mean? This means that Comets will be able to kill without leaving behind any incriminating evidence, and if they are voted for in-trial during a week in which they kill they will not be executed. However, they will become more vulnerable in the following week and be on the list of victims for the following week.
Comets will also be able to receive access to additional tools for murders should Sol and Lune see fit.
Additional notes:
The Comets will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the game and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to Sol and Lune's discretion.
Best of luck.

Four's brows furrow. ]
... If I'm honest, I could be a lot better. It's hard to stay uplifted when someone dies every week. How are you doing?

A FOOL
NEVER ACTUALLY LINKED YOU THIS ANYWAY. I’M SORRY!!! ]
I’m alright. I meant more... what happened at the trial. Someone tried to frame you, that can’t be easy to deal with.
no subject
... Oh.
[ Four's gaze lowers, and there's no hiding that she's not over it. ]
That someone out there doesn't care for me enough to do that... It does wound me. I didn't think I've done anything egregious enough to warrant anything like that.

You did the right thing being honest about the evidence. It was just too contrived to be real. But... did someone just have a grudge, or did they think you would be an easy target...?
no subject
I was worried... that I could have been.
no subject
[ ... ]
I think I’d want to know, no matter the consequences. If someone doubted me, or if I doubted myself.

We've been so lucky that people have found items to force the corruption out, but... would you really be accepting of the other consequence?

You're a kind and honest person, Miki. More should be like you.
no subject
... Is it really so abnormal to want people to be safe and not in fear for their lives?

She sighs, too. ]
We should all be in the same position and working together, but... that's not how it's shaping out to be. I should tell you that... a few have found out that I have a role. I've yet to give details about what we are asked to do, but I thought I should let you know.

And we didn't even do that. Junna and Nana still died, and then it turned out that people had items that could've saved him anyway.
no subject
[ Can they change what they didn't know? ]
It's one thing to reflect in retrospect, but... we can't change what happened. We don't know how many items like that have been found or can be found. Everyone isn't open about it.
no subject
[ It's in the past, but she does think about it. ]
We don't have a reason to be, really. The Corruption could choose to target someone it knew had an item, so I get why people keep it secret. But it would be better if we could share and use information freely.

[ She taps on the table. In a series of pointed beats. ]
.-.. .. -.- . / -- --- .-. ... . ..--..
There are books on morse code in the library.
no subject
If that's something everyone can learn, that could be an option.
[ She really hopes the corruption can't learn it either. ]
no subject
It wasn't too difficult to learn, but you do need to practice it and have a good surface to make the dot-dashes with. But if the Corruption is possessing someone for the first time, it might not be able to decipher notes written it.
[ Provided it doesn't just assimilate all knowledge when it chooses a host. ]
no subject
She nods, looking thoughtful. ]
I'll try to learn it. Is it a code that's through taps only?
no subject
[ hello darkness do you know morse code. ]
no subject
I understand.
[ Probably. ]
Have you been using it with people here?
no subject
With Axel and Minato, once or twice, so I know they know it. I showed Kaoru it as well, but I don't know if he'd learn it too.
no subject
[ and maybe it will make him more sad because it'll remind him of his dead girlfriend ]
