COMETS;
Comets

Comets will be called on by Sol and Lune only when they need someone eliminated. Murders must not be made outside of their knowledge and the Comets will not be able to refuse an assignment. Sometimes Comets may be asked to work together, but often times they will have to act alone. However, both Comets must be in attendance when the Signs have an assignment.
When the Signs seek to summon Comets, a portal will appear when a Comet finds themselves alone. Upon entering the portal, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. Comets will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea Room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.
Outside of Sign-requested kills, Comets may participate in the game as normal including fulfilling their objectives and using their gifts.
Comets will be able to kill without being put on trial so long as it is a Sign-ordered kill. Any kills Comets make outside of a request are eligible for trial.
What does this mean? This means that Comets will be able to kill without leaving behind any incriminating evidence, and if they are voted for in-trial during a week in which they kill they will not be executed. However, they will become more vulnerable in the following week and be on the list of victims for the following week.
Comets will also be able to receive access to additional tools for murders should Sol and Lune see fit.
Additional notes:
The Comets will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the game and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to Sol and Lune's discretion.
Best of luck.

[ hello darkness do you know morse code. ]
no subject
I understand.
[ Probably. ]
Have you been using it with people here?
no subject
With Axel and Minato, once or twice, so I know they know it. I showed Kaoru it as well, but I don't know if he'd learn it too.

[ and maybe it will make him more sad because it'll remind him of his dead girlfriend ]

[ It doesn't make sense to her because she wants to be the more knowledgeable sort even if the mileage may vary if she comes off like that.

If you let yourself be overwhelmed by a situation and forget to live, then what are you actually surviving for?
[ It’s not too dissimilar to a friend of hers. And she knows very well that mood-lifters like Kaoru are just as important as the Shess’ or Emma’s of the group who bear responsibilities.

[ Is it time to get philosophical? ]
If he's aware and not in denial, that's something that can be talked through if you don't agree with it.
no subject
Yes. If you want to survive, you need a reason to live. I forgot that before, but someone reminded me. Taking the time to play a game, or appreciate a trip, or just eating something you haven't had in a while are sometimes just as important as keeping yourself safe, making survival plans and supply upkeep.
Not agreeing doesn't always mean that one of is right and the other is wrong. Just that our thoughts differ. [ She wobbles her hand slightly, like a scale. ] Balancing it is more important, I think. So when you need to focus on the serious things, everyone does that, and vice versa.

What happens if you don't have that time? If you can't afford to take that sort of time?
[ Is she asking in general or speaking in hypotheticals to mean herself? Who knows? ]
If it's about balance, there's no saying what could tip it. However, if two people are having a reasonable discussion, it'd be better if moved like a pendulum. I know not everyone can agree. Convictions wouldn't be so, if you didn't believe strongly in them, but if you can shift back and forth and then meet in the middle... wouldn't that be ideal?
no subject
Then take a moment. If you have all the time in the world to be scared, or fighting, or planning, you can spare a moment to just rest.
Meeting the middle would be the ideal, yes. Extremes are never good -- too much of one thing over another ignores too much. But meeting in the middle is always trickier. But the things worth doing usually are.
no subject
Something like that sounds easier said than done.
[ what is a rest ]
Is it something worth doing, if you won't put the effort to do it? If you can take the time to convince someone to do something, you can take the time to listen. Ideally.
no subject
Most things are.
[ four... rest... ]
But things that are worth it are rarely easy. I'd say the effort is the meeting in the middle - if you have strong opinions on something, tempering them to see another person's and meet them at the midway point is tough. So, yeah. Listening is the most important part.

Compromising and listening are both good skills to have, but they're also both skills that people don't think about enough. It's a struggle when you end up trying to have a discussion with someone that doesn't try either.
no subject
That's usually a sign that maybe things aren't working. I think. But you have to try to work on it first.
no subject
And if you've been trying all your life?
no subject
Something'll happen. It might not be quite the leap you hope for, but steps will be made. That's what I think, at least.
no subject
[ An immovable person. She was talking of compromise moments ago, but some people don't consider it. ]
Someone who won't change their mind no matter what.
no subject
[ Then she waggles her hand slightly. ]
Sort of. Eventually you might find common ground. It's a two way thing though, you should always try but sometimes it's not possible. But if you don't try, then how can you know?
no subject
She sighs and looks off into the distance. ]
It's because I've tried. Perhaps I'll think of a different solution while I'm here. As long as I'm live, there's still time, isn't there?
no subject
[ god that'd be a sight to see. ]
If you're alive, things can change. That's why people try so hard to live, I think.
