As The Crescent:
Every Monday, the Crescent will meet with the Signs and be given the opportunity to grant one other player immunity for the week. This immunity will allow the player to live for that week even if they are chosen as a victim by the Corrupted.

Should the Crescent choose to protect someone and that person is selected as a victim, however, the Crescent's name will be provided as the victim and they will die in that week to protect the chosen player.

The Crescent will also be allowed to submit a name for a victim in order to protect someone else. If they are concerned that someone they wish to protect will be chosen by the Corrupted, they may enact a trade to sacrifice another player. While there is no guarantee that the name they've offered will be chosen, this action will earn favor among the Signs.

The choice must be made at the time of the meeting. The Crescent only gets one meeting per week and they must choose wisely if they wish to protect someone and risk their own life, or offer someone as a failsafe sacrifice. (i.e. "I would like to protect X" versus "should X be chosen by the Corrupted, I would like to substitute Y.")

When the Signs seek to summon the Crescent, a portal will appear when they finds themselves alone. Upon entering the portal, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. The Crescent will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea Room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.

Additional notes:
The Crescent will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the game and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to the Signs' discretion.

Things have been better, but...we still have a chance, don't we? [He liked all of the people who died this last week, it's fine.] It's not over yet.

I wonder.

Do we have any chance at success, other than what those who have passed on have conveyed back to us? Will we be left with only one, in the end?

[cyclists]

...it's starting to look like that, but I don't think people are giving up just yet. And my hope is that if we keep working on stuff on both planes, maybe something will work out.

[He tilts his head.] So you've heard then...what do you think?

[tothemaxwell]

I think we should have plans for both an alternative solution, and the path we are currently on track for.

For myself, I have thrown my belief behind Shess. I doubt I will live long enough to count myself among such candidates.

[cyclists]

I like that plan. And I like Shess enough, but what makes you think you won't live long enough? Why not?

[tothemaxwell]

If I live long, Sol, it is because I have performed my role poorly. That is hardly to be applauded, is it?

[cyclists]

I don't know. [And truthfully, he doesn't.] I don't think it's necessarily about if your role is performed poorly or not, if the ending result helps more people than your role initially anticipated. Right?

[tothemaxwell]

That... is not incorrect. It is a way I hadn't necessarily considered before, however. Yes... I certainly could see it in such a way.

Still, I will not begin aiming to miss. I am dedicated completely to my mission, regardless of my own outcome.

[cyclists]

Are you always this self-sacrificial? [Suddenly it makes sense why Lune chose Milla.] It's not a bad thing, but you kind of just remind me of somebody.

[tothemaxwell]

Hmm... no, I do not think so.

I think, perhaps, it is a trait that my growing love for humanity, and all living things, has placed upon me.

When... when they look at me, I want to be like this. I want to be the Maxwell they respect.

[cyclists]

...I think you have a lot to learn about humanity, but we all do. It's easier to learn that than it is to earn respect. So you're probably doing something right

[tothemaxwell]

I like to think so.

[she beams.]

But I will never stop attempting to grow.

[cyclists]

You shouldn't. And I won't either. [Sometimes he thinks maybe he and Milla are more alike than he initially thought.] ...you're on the right track with stuff. Just keep it up.

[tothemaxwell]

Then let us keep it up together, Sol. Some day, I would like to see your face, too.

[cyclists]

[Oh? Interesting.]

Maybe next time we meet. But we'll keep it up. I promise.
