As The Crescent:
Every Monday, the Crescent will meet with the Signs and be given the opportunity to grant one other player immunity for the week. This immunity will allow the player to live for that week even if they are chosen as a victim by the Corrupted.

Should the Crescent choose to protect someone and that person is selected as a victim, however, the Crescent's name will be provided as the victim and they will die in that week to protect the chosen player.

The Crescent will also be allowed to submit a name for a victim in order to protect someone else. If they are concerned that someone they wish to protect will be chosen by the Corrupted, they may enact a trade to sacrifice another player. While there is no guarantee that the name they've offered will be chosen, this action will earn favor among the Signs.

The choice must be made at the time of the meeting. The Crescent only gets one meeting per week and they must choose wisely if they wish to protect someone and risk their own life, or offer someone as a failsafe sacrifice. (i.e. "I would like to protect X" versus "should X be chosen by the Corrupted, I would like to substitute Y.")

When the Signs seek to summon the Crescent, a portal will appear when they finds themselves alone. Upon entering the portal, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. The Crescent will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea Room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.

Additional notes:
The Crescent will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the game and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to the Signs' discretion.

It truly was, and I look back upon our time together during my human years very fondly. I do not think I really appreciated then what I had in the Four. They not only made me stronger, but they helped me to grow into the person I desired to be—which, in turn, changed them, as well. I treasure them beyond words.

[She chuckles, nodding.] Yes, absolutely. I have witnessed it myself many times. As for our ideologies... well, perhaps it's simplest to say that she believed she needed someone to follow, whereas I have always believed we must walk our own path.

[Wow this sounds kind of familiar, and given by the fact that there's another pause it's a little obvious Sol is thinking again.]

I think everybody has the possibility of changing everyone else. But I get it. ...the people who helped me out a lot when I was born changed, too, I think. Even if we didn't always understand each other. But they're the best.

[There's fondness in the tone, and also a little sadness. But it's easy enough to move on.] I get that some people need orders to stay on track with things, but who was actually right in that situation? Could there only be one right answer?

An excellent question, Sol.

Although we believed our answer to be correct, that did not necessarily mean that my sister and her companion did not also have a viable solution to the problem we faced.

It was a matter of conviction, and whose was strongest.

[except, you know, with fighting.]

You seem to be relating to my story quite a bit. Why don't you tell me a little more of your own relations, such as they may be?

[cyclists]

[That also sounds sort of familiar and so there's a nod.] It worked out in the end, didn't it? You were the strongest.

[But right. They're supposed to be trading stories so…there's a pause as he thinks of what to say here.]

…I wasn't raised by spirits or anything like that, but when I was born I didn't have any memories of where I came from or who I was supposed to be. I was found right after that and taken to live with others like me. One person in particular was put in charge of teaching me everything I needed to know in order to help with their goals. We were all working toward the same thing to help us find answers.

About a week after that, someone else just like me joined us, too. We became friends and started to work together, but even though we were the same, we were different. [Whatever that means.] She learned about her past sooner than I did and realized what we were working for wasn't the only way. I had to get stronger to leave and find the answer myself…and fighting her and leaving behind our other friend was the only way. It took a while, but eventually I met someone who guided me right where I was supposed to go. After that...it was just about going forward.

Yes, we were—and together, all of us proved our point quite effectively. [With well-placed punches!!!

For Sol's side, at least, she settles, nodding along as he speaks. She is more than happy, after all, to simply be facilitating conversation.]

It sounds like you were made to grow up before your time, Sol. You've always struck me as particularly mature, and this simply confirms it.

You have grown beyond the challenges that have been issued to you. In a way, you are the perfect guide for us, here in this place.

[cyclists]

Good. [But then...well, then she says that and like. That's nice of her to say even if it's not what he was expecting because nobody's really ever called him mature.]

You really think so? [He sounds a bit incredulous.] I'm still trying to figure everything out. Aren't guides supposed to know a lot more?

Hah hah hah. Well, I am the Lord of the Spirits, and I contain only the knowledge that twenty years' worth of experience and relaying has granted me. I know for a fact that there are still gaps in my own understanding of things that came before me. Are we not on the same page?

Besides, I believe firmly that youth and inexperience brings a point of view that many with far more experience in matters may never have thought of. The lack of understanding of the rules leads to creative ways to break them, as it were.

[cyclists]

When you put it like that, yeah I guess so. [He sounds a little relieved, actually.] You still have more years on me, but we're figuring it out. That's important, isn't it?

I think I want to agree with that but I don't want to make things harder for you guys either due to inexperience. This is a situation nobody should be in, and most of my usual methods to break the rules aren't working. But if people let me try, I can figure it out.

[tothemaxwell]

That is the important part.

Are you interested in breaking the rules further? In such an exploit, I would like to join you.

[There's a low laugh.] I do, but I also don't think I can. Lune and I have to follow certain rules while acting as the universe's guides. We can't give away major details, we can't interfere too much, we can't outright name people...it's really annoying to be censored as much as we are.

But that doesn't mean I'm not interested in finding loopholes.

I wonder what loopholes can be found with regards to the Crescent's position.

It seems to waste to die only once. I would prefer to protect more than that.

[cyclists]

Nothing is stopping you from finding other ways to obtain items of protection or stuff like that. That's your loophole right there, Milla. You're able to find other methods than what's handed to you by us.

[tothemaxwell]

I'm not even sure he notices which is the scariest part. But it's a good thing there's people like you around to make sure that doesn't happen.

We can do stuff like that in exchange for tasks. But weirdly he never asked.
