Death has never been a pretty thing, has it? Though some of you may have seen it coming, many of you have been taken by surprise in the last moments of your life.
Fortunately for you, it's not over yet.
The last thing you may remember is dying, but upon awakening you'll find yourself in what appears to be the meeting hall. Warmed by the ever-present fire, the room is empty and the voting box appears to be missing. In its place are three large panels hanging from the walls that allow the newly dead to peer into the lives of the living.
As you step out into the village, twilight has set in over the sleepy valley casting light and shadows as far as the eye can see. The same buildings appear to be here, all in the same order and with the same amenities. The sakura trees continue to bloom, the kitchen remains well-stocked, and the bell at the shrine echos. Likewise, the river flows through the village and the four elemental regions are found at the edges of the village.
The main difference, however, is the appearance of two additional huts that you don't recognize each bearing an emblem of a sun or a moon.
Make yourself comfortable. You'll be here for a while.

no subject
At least, that's what Val chooses to believe.]
You can still get to know each other better after all of this is done.
no subject
[ she's not really sure what's gonna happen when this is all over and done. if they all go their separate universes again, will it even be worth the attempt? would she still have these social links to consider? ]
I wanna get to know everyone better!!
no subject
As long as you're willing, there should always be a way.
no subject
[ It's a better thing to dream about than.... well. Watching all of That Happening on screen. ]
no subject
She really is great, isn't she?]
What was your home like?
no subject
A lot more politically corrupt than this but we had better methods of dealing with it. [ their powers actually leveled up for one ]
no subject
Yes, we had issues in the corrupterment as well. My party and I set out to fix them.
[Val, it's literally called the corrupterment.]
no subject
Corrupterment?? [ really?? ] How did you deal with yours?
no subject
We overthrew the government through the traditional means.
[The Hades party beat up the President. Basically.]
no subject
Oh, we beat up the candidate for Prime Minister before taking on a God wanting to control all of humanity. [ you know. as you do ]
Nice.
no subject
That sounds awfully familiar?]
You too?
no subject
Yeah???
[ is this a common thing???? ]
no subject
Still, this shouldn't be so common.
no subject
You'd think they'd get the hint after the first 30 or so times.
no subject
He also says this very casually.]
I'm going to take over my universe.
no subject
[ not like she hasn't already started already but lbr hijacking network tv is small beans ]
We can be comrades!
no subject
As much as Val admires the very human "camaraderie" he's always a bit startled when somebody declares they want to be comrades with him. Usually he's the one dragging people along.
It's nice when somebody extends their hand first.]
Then we're comrades!
