CYOA - WEEK THREE
WAKE THE GREAT SPIRIT
Without warning, sometime in the middle of the day of your Tuesday, you'll find yourself beckoned to the gateway. The cave that sits at the edge of the city beckons you, drawing you closer and closer until you find yourself entering it. The darkness envelops you and you know nothing but that you must walk one step in front of the other, one step in front of the other, one step -
Until you blink and there is suddenly stone beneath your feet, ruins in front of your eyes.

Thankfully, you aren't alone. There are five others with you as light filters from above, as though you're on the very floor of the ocean. Schools of fish might swim overhead, implying that you may be underwater but you don't feel the heaviness of the pressure at all.
A small cacophony of noises will arise as six floating orbs rest in the distance, flickering with light. There seems to be chatter there, but it'll take some adventuring closer in order to determine exactly what they might be.
Though the longer you wait, you may feel a rumble beneath your feet, like an earthquake.
And then the curious whirring of... mechanical gears?
... In truth, you might not want to linger here that long.

In this CYOA, characters have been set on a path in order to fight the corruption that lingers within the ruins of the lost continent of Mu. They'll be guided along as they get through the plants that have been corrupted along with a few former inhabitants of the gateway that is within. They'll be separated before congregating to face one final challenge together, and then hopefully be unceremoniously dumped back in the mingle after disappearing. They should ICly be gone for approximately six hours beginning on the afternoon of Tuesday.

Hope we don’t crash.
[While they are slowly plummeting. It’s fine.
He reaches in and pushes a few more prominent buttons If the screaming doesn’t stop after their button presses, he may just take a stab at the speaker to shut it up.......]

Considering the fact that it looks like the type of speaker that you! Speak into! Rather than stab! Wow, wonder what that's about!]

still seems like they might crash, though? hm. he presses another button or two to see if that stops their descent... and maybe now that they're not actively fighting he'll actually
look at the sword
and remember it can talk. ]
Oi - what do we do with this thing?
[ he kind of doesn't want to crash and die?? but as long as they're going in the right direction maybe they'll be okay. ]

He lets Kara at least converse with the spirit, but immediately after, he bends down some to the speaker. In a very typical lilting voice:]
Yo.
[Is anybody home??]
Hisoka and Ookurikara are here.

The last time that we faced this opponent, it was being maneuvered by two small children. I believe it responded to their commands, so if there is a destination you would like to opt for...
[Given the fact that Hisoka's sweet slide into the robot's proverbial DMs didn't do much.]

The gate.

The robot stalls for a second before it begins to power up again – and if the two care to look above, they’ll notice that the part that Kara cut through is already regenerated – and it will fly the two of them back over to the gate.
It opens for them in another gust and pulls them on through.
Nice.]
