[ bold of lune to assume that four's heart can hold anything considered a treasure
Four looks a little surprised by that last question. The first two are... standard enough, she thinks. ]
I'd like to ask you the same questions, if you would answer.
[ She thinks about how she wants to answer these. How much should she let them know? Some of it is harmless information, but... ]
I rule the Land of Mountains. It's... more or less what it sounds like. It's a mountainous country with small towns and small farms. I live in a citadel situated high up in one of the mountains. What I wish to accomplish.... here or at home? At home, I only want to be a good ruler, and I want to make my sister One proud...
[ What she wants to do here is.... still up in the air. Everything is so uncertain that her gut instinct is telling her to do one thing, but she's still wise enough to know she doesn't have the power to do what she wants. Not like in the Land of Mountains. ]
My heart's greatest treasure... [ Her voice goes soft, as if she's reminiscing something very nostalgic and dear. ] is something in my memory. It's the memory of a time when my sisters all lived together, and we were all happy. It was a time... when no one was a traitor.
[there is a soft noise of understanding at that as lune listens along, apparently hanging onto her every word. they listen along and allow their gaze to drift upward to the sakura tree as they try to imagine what it is that she's describing. a land of mountains, a citadel, and a happy family....]
... Mm, splendid, splendid. Thank you for sharing with me. You truly are a very remarkable person.
[there is some note of curiosity about the traitor comment - but they find it important to return her goodwill first]
My home is in a place not unlike this village - where everything is very self-sufficient. It is a large ground that contains a great number of personalities, and there is always something happening. It was very lively, which made it very enjoyable for me to watch. In that place, I only wished to accomplish the missions that were laid in front of me, and to protect the happiness of those in my midst.
I hold the same desire here.
[they hold a great fondness for everyone already, after all.]
As for my heart's greatest treasure...
I suppose I am still trying to determine that. I suppose in some ways, I am still coming to terms with what it means to possess a heart at all.
[ Four opens her eyes when Lune speaks, but her eyes stay affixed on her hands until their last words. Her head lifts, and she stares at them with some confusion. ]
What it means to possess a heart? Did you not have one before?
I suppose that is why I only wish to truly express to you that despite my request that you assist as a Comet, you are by no means merely a tool to be used at the disposal of others.
... however, I find it difficult to fault others for their humanity. When their fear or uncertainty might keep them from being who they would like to be - and it steals their courage and strength.

[ That's how she's choosing to interpret that. She seems pensive for a moment. ]
Can I ask how much you and Sol know about any of us?
no subject
[a tilt of their head]
I was wondering if you would be open to telling me more about yourself.
no subject
What would you like to know?
no subject
Whatever it is that you would like to share.
What is your home like? What do you wish to accomplish? What is your heart's greatest treasure?
[you know
basic get to know you questions]
If you would like to know anything about me, you may ask that as well.

[ What does that mean? ]
no subject
I believe in that way, it is something closer to having a heart.
[but it's hard for them to say for sure as well]

[ If she were in that situation, she wouldn't take it well. She wouldn't take it well at all. ]

[ She smiles a little, but there's no joy or heart in it. ]
I'm not a stranger to... killing for the ways a Comet does, so it'll be fine. I will be fine.

Is it something that you needed to do in order to protect your lands?
no subject
Yes. My sisters and I wanted to make the continent safer for its residents, so some necessary deaths had to happen.
no subject
To remove those who would cause harm to innocents?
no subject
[ Evil should be banished, etc. ]
no subject
... I am only sorry that it fell to you as a responsibility.
However I am also grateful for your desire to help others to motivate you to protect them.

What must be done must be done. I'm only doing what anyone else should do.
no subject
Perhaps it is what anyone else would like to do.

We should all be allowed to grow, but some people need to pushed into self-improvement.

[ Sounding self-important is her best skill. ]
