Corona

Every Tuesday, the Corona will meet with the Signs and be presented with three choices to help or hinder the game's progress. This may include items, effects, scenarios or more. However, they will not be provided any further information about these choices and their results will vary. They will have to pick wisely.

Should the Corona choose to not pick at all, the Signs will pick for them instead and inflict a punishment on the Corona.

When the Signs seeks to summon the Corona, a portal will appear when they find themselves alone. Upon entering the door, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. The Corona will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.

Additional notes:
The Corona will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the games and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to the Signs' discretion.

The choices this week are Owl, Rat and Cat.

Please respond to this top-level by Wednesday at 8 AM PST with a choice!

[leaberator]

I'm gonna go with cat.

[ because. give him a cat. give ME a cat. give us all cats. ]

[cyclists]

[No sooner than Axel makes his choice, a box tied up with a ribbon appears on the table. There are small holes in the box, and as Sol approaches behind Axel, the box meows.]

--cat?

[leaberator]

[ oh? my god? ]

It's actually a cat?!

[cyclists]

Cat! [Why is there a cat?? Sol's going to open the box and pull out a kitten. There's a ribbon tied around its neck with the words "Wednesday" and the name of the coffee/tea shop in the wizarding village.]

...I don't get it. [The cat meows again.]

[leaberator]

Is...something gonna happen in that shop on Wednesday?

[ there's a long pause before he shrugs and goes ahead and scratches kitty under the chin ]

I guess you got your pet after all.

[cyclists]

Maybe...that's the only thing I can think of. [The cat begins to purr as Sol holds it and Axel scratches its chin.] You think we can actually keep it?

[leaberator]

I don't see the universe taking it back. [ so? yknow ] Guess it's yours.

[cyclists]

Guess so. [The cat bats at Sol's hand and Sol bats back.] He can stay here with me. It's not like I don't have room, plus Lune's getting fish.

[leaberator]

Who's giving Lune fish?

[cyclists]

Me and someone else. He'll like them.

[leaberator]

Are you ... fishing these?

[cyclists]

There're koi in the pond in the garden. [So no.]

[leaberator]

So... you guys are gonna grab koi and just... hand them to him?

[ he looks like he's gonna die of laughter ]

[cyclists]

Of course not! We're going to get him a tank and everything. It'll be a nice surprise.

[He's not that dumb, excuse you!!]

[leaberator]

But you're still just taking the koi out of the pond.

[cyclists]

They're just there. They'd be happier being taken care of wouldn't they?

[leaberator]

Well now you're just makin' me question whether fish like being taken care of or not. Not something I've ever asked myself before.

[cyclists]

I kind of thought most things liked people paying attention to them at least every once in a while. Why would fish be any different?

[leaberator]

Well, wild animals don't like it as much, usually.

[ what are fish? we just don't know ]

[cyclists]

Like you've been around a lot of wild animals? [...] Have you?

[leaberator]

... What's "a lot", to you?

[ he's just curious but also throw a coin in the "axel doesn't say anything about himself" jar ]

[cyclists]

Like...more than four. Or more than what we have on the farm here.

[leaberator]

You know the animals on the farm aren't wild, right?

[ he's straining to not laugh ]

Yeah, I've encountered more than four wild animals.

[cyclists]

They're sort of wild since they do whatever they want. [That's not how that works...] What about the stuff in the woods here? Have you been out there much?
