Corona

Every Tuesday, the Corona will meet with the Signs and be presented with three choices to help or hinder the game's progress. This may include items, effects, scenarios or more. However, they will not be provided any further information about these choices and their results will vary. They will have to pick wisely.

Should the Corona choose to not pick at all, the Signs will pick for them instead and inflict a punishment on the Corona.

When the Signs seeks to summon the Corona, a portal will appear when they find themselves alone. Upon entering the door, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. The Corona will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.

Additional notes:
The Corona will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the games and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to the Signs' discretion.

WEEK 4

[cyclists]

[On Tuesday of Week 4, the Corona will find themselves drawn into a portal that brings them into the tea room. The long, low black table in the center of the room is empty for now.

When they look up, Sol and Lune will be present and available for questions.]

SOL

[cyclists]

[leaberator]

It's a... break week, right? [ he does not say vacation. but. ] What kinda stuff is even gonna be in these?

[cyclists]

Probably nothing too big or terrible. They're just animals. [But hm.] What're your thoughts?

[leaberator]

[ that he would maybe like to pet a real cat ]

That a plague of rats would be funny but annoying.

[cyclists]

[Crookshanks exists somewhere.]

That sounds pretty gross. Let's hope that's not what this means.

[leaberator]

I doubt it. I figure if I think of the worst case scenarios first, I can't get disappointed.

[ though. hm. ]

You ever even seen a rat?

[cyclists]

No...not in person, but Sora has. He helped him cook.

[Listen.]

[leaberator]

... I'm not even gonna ask.

[ axel, who lives in twilight town and has probably been to the bistrot: a rat made this?! ]

Hmmm. Roxas, if you could pick a pet to have, what would it be? Not from the list, anything at all.

LUNE

[cyclists]

[leaberator]

You got a favorite animal, Mikazuki?

Hm...

I am rather fond of tigers... and cranes.

[so like

super useless]

[leaberator]

[ listen let's be honest he's already picked AND he knew about the tiger thing, but. ]

Cranes?

[cyclists]

They are rather amusing to watch.

[and there's something in his voice that manages to sound fond]

I'm rather partial to animals that carry their grace with them.

[leaberator]

[ incredibly, there have somehow been no cranes in any disney movies, so i get to have this: ]

Don't think I've ever seen one outside of pictures. Graceful I get, but... amusing?

[cyclists]

They possess a number of endearing traits.

Where I am from, cranes are always said to mean good fortune. They are capable of carrying happiness wherever they may go. Isn't that lovely?

[leaberator]

Good fortune and happiness...

[ no wonder he's never seen one. he decides to not make that joke ]

Isn't that kind of a lot for one bird to carry?

CHOICE

[cyclists]

The choices this week are Owl, Rat and Cat.

Please respond to this top-level by Wednesday at 8 AM PST with a choice!

[leaberator]

I'm gonna go with cat.

[ because. give him a cat. give ME a cat. give us all cats. ]

[cyclists]

[No sooner than Axel makes his choice, a box tied up with a ribbon appears on the table. There are small holes in the box, and as Sol approaches behind Axel, the box meows.]

--cat?

[leaberator]

[ oh? my god? ]

It's actually a cat?!

[cyclists]

Cat! [Why is there a cat?? Sol's going to open the box and pull out a kitten. There's a ribbon tied around its neck with the words "Wednesday" and the name of the coffee/tea shop in the wizarding village.]

...I don't get it. [The cat meows again.]

[leaberator]

Is...something gonna happen in that shop on Wednesday?

[ there's a long pause before he shrugs and goes ahead and scratches kitty under the chin ]

I guess you got your pet after all.

[cyclists]

Maybe...that's the only thing I can think of. [The cat begins to purr as Sol holds it and Axel scratches its chin.] You think we can actually keep it?

[leaberator]

I don't see the universe taking it back. [ so? yknow ] Guess it's yours.
