Every day. [It's an immediate answer.] But when we fix everything here, I'll get to see them again even if it's just for a little while. And the people here aren't too bad either.

I'm a vampire. I was expecting something more along the lines of air or ice.

It's the element I'm most resistant against. That's the same way mages work.

A lot of people seemed to get powers that would challenge them. Maybe that's why you were given fire instead.

I think you guys will be just fine if you learn how to overcome the obstacles. And if you're used to magic anyway, maybe it'll be easier.

Emizel is the caster. The magic I'm used to is mostly transformation.

I get why they wanted to even the playing field but it still seems kind of dumb to take away anything that might've helped you guys out.

Yes. Every vampire I've ever met turns into a dragon.

It's possible, but weird. [...] I don't think I've ever really met a dragon before either. So it's kind of cool meeting both at once.
