No, nothing like that. But like I said, the core is new. Why wouldn't it linger around here to try and shape the universe itself?

It's not that difficult to influence even when it's older. It just takes whispering some whispering in the ears of the ones in power.

Now. How are you faring?

But if it's older, it could resist the whispers couldn't it? I think that's why we're trying to find a path for it early.

I can take care of myself, but if we're all going to be trapped here with each other, than it's best to support each other. That's a human idea- one that I can believe in.

It's an idea I've been hoping people would listen to for a while now. Sometimes it's not always so easy. [...] Do you normally not believe in human ideas?

They exist whether or not I believe in them.

... But that's my favorite human one.

I think it's probably mine, too. [Kind of an afterthought.] But getting people to listen to that isn't always easy anyway.

Of course it isn't easy. That doesn't mean it isn't worth trying to form camaraderie between the people here.

How've you been doing with that anyway? Any luck?

Hmm... It usually takes longer than a week for something like that.

[cyclists]

[They rub the back of their head.] That seriously did not answer my question. [What does time really have to do with attempts?]

I'm enjoying the time I spend with Milla and Shess. [Fellow not humans.] Though it's hard to say comrades this early.

[cyclists]

Really? [For most people, sure.] ...I met my friends back home within a week, so maybe that's why I'm asking.

[He's yet to promise anybody something highly significant so he can't exactly say comrade yet.]

Only a week. What a short amount of time. Do you miss them?

Every day. [It's an immediate answer.] But when we fix everything here, I'll get to see them again even if it's just for a little while. And the people here aren't too bad either.

My fire? Yes, though it's not the first element I'd choose for myself.

I'm a vampire. I was expecting something more along the lines of air or ice.

Air I think I understand, but why ice?

It's the element I'm most resistant against. That's the same way mages work.
