It's not the collateral I'm thinking of, but— If completing tasks will convince the universe to help us, then wouldn't it be beneficial for all of us to get as many of those done as possible?

I want to say maybe the universe didn't know how bad this would get either, but at the same time there were things set up here that makes me wonder otherwise. So now it's finding a way around those.
There's something to be said about timing, but I don't know whose clock they're working on. If they were really concerned about how the corruption was spreading you'd think they'd be working faster to help us help them.
