Comets

Comets will be called on by Sol and Lune only when they need someone eliminated. Murders must not be made outside of their knowledge and the Comets will not be able to refuse an assignment. Sometimes Comets may be asked to work together, but often times they will have to act alone. However, both Comets must be in attendance when the Signs have an assignment.

When the Signs seek to summon Comets, a portal will appear when a Comet finds themselves alone. Upon entering the portal, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. Comets will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea Room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.

Outside of Sign-requested kills, Comets may participate in the game as normal including fulfilling their objectives and using their gifts.

Comets will be able to kill without being put on trial so long as it is a Sign-ordered kill. Any kills Comets make outside of a request are eligible for trial.

What does this mean? This means that Comets will be able to kill without leaving behind any incriminating evidence, and if they are voted for in-trial during a week in which they kill they will not be executed. However, they will become more vulnerable in the following week and be on the list of victims for the following week.

Comets will also be able to receive access to additional tools for murders should Sol and Lune see fit.

Additional notes:
The Comets will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the game and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to Sol and Lune's discretion.

lune will raise from where they are seated on the opposite of the table, and will instead move to four's side. a hand, steady and gentle, will come up to gently rest atop her head.

then, full of fondness and warmth:]

[ It won't take long until her tears ebb, and calm returns to her. She's a mess, but she tries to act like she just didn't cry a small river.

Her hands fall back to her side. ]

I'll do my best to live up to your expectations.

[there's a soft laugh at that, but it still only radiates with gentle amusement

they pull their hand back - only briefly. they'll extend their index finger out - long, elegant, only so barely rough - and move to brush some of her tears away from her face]

Your best will be enough.

You have my gratitude. I will do my best to assist you as well, so you are not alone in this matter.

[ Four goes very still when they brush some of her tears away. When was the last time someone did something like that for her? When was the last time someone tried?

(Once upon a time ago, deep, deep in her memories, Zero once..... )

There's no hiding her shock. ]

[ She clears her throat. ]

[lune will pull their hand back afterward, wondering only if they have been able to do enough for her.]

At this moment... I do not believe so. Once the young one and I are able to determine more regarding what exactly it is that your role exists to prevent, we will share.

[ She's silent for a moment. ]

If there comes a time when you need us to carry out this role, what tools are you able to give us?

The young one and I are able to manifest items as you need in order to execute your tasks, so that you needn't withdraw items from the armory that might draw attention to you.

[forefall]

[ There's a short pause of surprise. ]

That's.... [ Nice? Convenient? ] Helpful. If it becomes necessary, that makes this task a little less stressful.

[cyclists]

[a short nod at that]

Certainly so. If you are to accomplish something for us... it is only natural to receive in exchange.

I do not wish for our relationship to become unbalanced.
