First impression was nice, quiet girl who unwittingly enabled Minato and had a low sense of self-worth, probably. TBH THAT WAS HIS OPINION FOR A WHILE—funnily enough, his opinion of her rose when Xion was outed and he immediately realized, "oh, Namine covered for her during the elemental manipulation reveal." Not because he necessarily approved of hiding a corrupted, but because it also demonstrated that Namine could be shrewd, and as a shady bitch, Shess can respect that.

Along with Axel's vouching that Namine would handle the endgame conditions well, Shess figured that, on top of the initial thoughts, she was competent and reasonable and while they were never going to be close, he knew other people would probably tell her stuff and she'd helped as needed. To be honest, if she'd lived, he would've been fine with her for lms (she wouldn't have been his top vote, but he understood why she was some others').

Kara's Friend.

Okay, well, first thoughts was that Tsuru was kind of a goofy guy... given the dress-up and chickens and everything... but then he died, and at that point, everything about him revolved around that Kara lost a comrade and was sad and Shess was trying to find ways to help Kara.

Then he received a surprise message from Tsuru?? AND BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE WAS REPLYING TO SHESS he ended up being pen pals with Tsuru, by virtue of the fact that Tsuru responded even if he couldn't fuckin remember the character limit to save his life. Thankfully, Shess was more amused than annoyed unlike some people, so it was just... an endearing personality trait...

But also, he's glad that Kara and Tsuru were messaging, if it helped ease Kara's loss at all. Shut up, no, karashess is not real. I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING.

Anyhow, overall, he liked Tsuru's personality well enough and thinks they could've gotten to be friends if Tsuru hadn't McDied so early on. Since Tsuru did, he mostly appreciated that Tsuru was as helpful as he could be from the great beyond.
