[ Four lifts a hand, as if to take his, but she doesn't bridge the distance. ]

No matter what? No matter what I do, no matter how I feel, would you promise to stay with me?

[ Her tone isn't hopeful, but it is wondering. Her expression is placid, almost scarily so. ]

You won't turn around and call for my death?

[ Four wants happiness. She aches for it, but even she doesn't know what could grant her it, if anything could. She has ideas in her head, dreams of a past that was happy, dreams of a past that she doesn't know is fake and implanted. It's a dream that can never be realized.

Her heart is full of holes, dark and gaping and twisted.

She doesn't believe him. A part of her wants to—the part of her that yearns for love and affection—but what do his hopes and wishes do for her? What have her own hopes and wishes done for her? Nothing. Nothing nothing NOTHING.

What she did was right, wasn't it? It was fine, wasn't it? It is fine. It isn't fine. Everyone else is still alive, and her life is still in danger. She's always in danger.

She smiles, something fragile and brittle, and she takes his hand. Still, it would be nice to pretend, after she murdered and got away with it. Lune says he'd stay with her and he wants her happiness.... ]

My happiness might not align with others.

[ Will she be happy once everyone is dead? ]
