Corona

Every Tuesday, the Corona will meet with the Signs and be presented with three choices to help or hinder the game's progress. This may include items, effects, scenarios or more. However, they will not be provided any further information about these choices and their results will vary. They will have to pick wisely.

Should the Corona choose to not pick at all, the Signs will pick for them instead and inflict a punishment on the Corona.

When the Signs seeks to summon the Corona, a portal will appear when they find themselves alone. Upon entering the door, they will be brought into a tea room where the Signs are waiting for them. When their visit in the room concludes and they choose to exit, the portal will disappear. The Corona will find that no matter how long they spent in the tea room, no time has elapsed outside of the portal.

Additional notes:
The Corona will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the games and communicate with the Signs in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well, including game mechanics, locations and more. However, the information received will be up to the Signs' discretion.

WEEK 7

[cyclists]

[On Tuesday of Week 7, the Corona will find themselves drawn into a portal that brings them into the tea room. The long, low black table in the center of the room is empty for now.

When they look up, Sol and Lune will be present and available for questions.]

LUNE

[cyclists]

[leaberator]

Hey, Mikazuki. [ waves ] Hanging in there?

SOL

[cyclists]

[leaberator]

[ axel looks at his branded FRIENDSHIP arm. looks back at sol ]

It kinda seems like the universe is tryna tell me something.

[cyclists]

[Just. Pulling off his hood and stretching out his collar to reveal that FRIENDSHIP is also emblazoned on his shoulder. The hood immediately goes back on so I don't have to embed.]

The universe lacks subtlety. [But there's a small grin in his tone.] Don't tell me you're going to pick that one just because of that.

[leaberator]

[ they matchies... he laughs ]

I'm considering it! C'mon, between all three of those, isn't friendship better?

[ he has a girlfriend but let's not go there ]

[cyclists]

[He's 100% happy not to go there.]

Yeah, okay, maybe. [He likes friendship...he likes his friends...] It's a pretty blatant sign, I guess, but it's still up to you. All of your picks have been pretty good so far.

[leaberator]

Even though I haven't used the last two?

[cyclists]

Isn't it better to have stuff we haven't used than to have something bad happen to everyone else?

[leaberator]

You're making me worried about "friendship" now.

[cyclists]

Friendship will probably be fine? It's weird...all of these words aren't even that bad this week.

[leaberator]

We've had a couple of weeks like that. We've had a couple with all bad, too. I don't know if there's a real pattern here.

[cyclists]

The pattern is the universe wants to confuse us. Dumb, huh? [He's casual about this today, which maybe isn't helpful.] ...only a few more weeks and this job will be done, too.

CHOICE

[cyclists]

The choices this week are Courage, Friendship, and Love.

Please respond to this top-level by Wednesday at 8 AM PST with a choice!

[leaberator]

Don't trick me now, universe. Anyway, friendship it is.

[ GOD let it be the bad pick ]

[cyclists]

[YOU SUCK AT PICKING BAD PICKS.

Anyway, no sooner than Axel makes his choice, thirteen small tape recorders appear on the table not unlike the one that Axel received last week. They're labeled for every participant, it seems, though they won't play if Axel tries to pick them up.

Ahead though, two more appear on the table, labeled "Sol" and "Lune." Roxas approaches, picking up the device with his new name on it before pressing "play."

And not long after that, both of them will hear Sora: "Don't tell me you're gonna give up now. You're still you. I thought you could use the reminder. "

Roxas promptly drops the recorder and it stops talking.]

[leaberator]

[ AT LEAST IT'S NOT THE HELPFUL ONE I'LL TAKE IT ]

What... Was that?

[ that was Sora, wasn't it? he's staring at the recorders ]

[cyclists]

[...he'll reach forward and hit play again. It's exactly the same message, about ten seconds long before the audio stops.]

Sora. [So yeah. That sure was Sora, but:] Where...? [He doesn't get what this is about either, but it's fine.]

[leaberator]

[ ... he reaches for his own but hesitates and takes his hand away for now ]

It's for everyone, right? Let's... have them delivered tomorrow.

[cyclists]

[He's just...kind of nodding and shoving his into his pocket. He's not sure how to feel about this, but it's fine.]

Tomorrow. I'll figure out something and have them dropped off. [A beat.] Lune and I usually don't get the same things you guys do. I wonder why now.

[leaberator]

It's been involving you guys more and more, hasn't it?

[cyclists]

Yeah. First the memory sharing, then those tattoos, and now this. It doesn't make sense.

[leaberator]

You think... it means something? You've been able to say more stuff than at the beginning, too.

[cyclists]

Dunno. [...] It's probably nothing. Maybe it's just that the corruption's losing its hold. It might be a good thing.
