[Sol's not quite sure what to think, truthfully, when the offering comes in. They ponder for a while before picking up the pin and heading out to wait.

Hisoka glances at said cow, but doesn't exactly pay it a lot of mind. When he stops a few yards away, a hand settles on his hip.]

[Definitely don't get excited about Shirasu?? He's not entirely sure what to make of the way Sol perks up a bit, a brow slightly raised-- but he also isn't going to say anything about it, just shooting Hisoka a sidelong glance.]

[Thank you god for Shirasu being here because if had just been Hisoka this might have gone much differently. As it is, Sol looks between both of them, trying to decide if they should listen or not. Hisoka has a point, they're sort of a broker for information, but simultaneously there's the risk that Hisoka's going to ask questions they don't have answers to yet.

It'll help to remember that, yeah. [So that's kind of important.] The core...is brand new, which means it can be really easily influenced. That's why the disturbances Lune and I found are important to start tracking and finding a way to deal with them. When Lune and I first game here, we searched for weeks and checked places for a source or anything that might be causing the instability. I can't tell if the universe thought there was a better answer, or if they got impatient, because a while later you showed up.
Because of our role in all of this and because of what they've communicated to us, we aren't actively participating the same way you are. It's why we're messengers, sort of. But we have other things we're doing too.
[Hm...] Let's just say not fixing it is gonna end up with a lot more people like Mary and a lot more worlds that aren't stable. Do you really need an incentive for picking a plan?

I'm more concerned about the thought that perhaps some of us wouldn't have motivation to prevent that. If we may have to work against that as well, it'll be quite difficult to all be in agreement... after all, we don't know just what situations each of us come from.

That's another thing I wanted to ask about, as well. I'd like to hope that what happened today is the end of it, but do you two have any idea if it might continue the same effort?

You're saying that it'll be hard to trust each other if any one of you could become corrupted. [That's obvious.] I can't say that what happened today won't happen again, but it's what we're working to avoid. If Lune and I can find a way to sense it before it manifests further, we can try to purify any of the corrupted before this happens again.
Do you think you'll be allowed to do so, if you're able to find a way to sense it? Or might something like that go against your role?

Isn't that just like asking if the universe itself wants to be corrupted? [...huh.] I think if there's a way to sense it, we'll be able to at least find a way to deal with it before someone corrupted can hurt someone else.

There's a better chance that we can find a way to detect it. When it lingered in that girl, we could sense it for days after. The universe has its own plans and that includes bringing people with capabilities Lune and I don't have here, and leaving us to be your guides.
