For myself... I would like to think that people are forged by their circumstances, but they are always capable of rising above. Even if it is not surprising if they do not, the aspiration is a lovely thing.
It's worked just fine for thousands of years, but because some demons were slacking off in their duties, we have more sinful souls than we have prinny hides to stitch them into.
Now my party consists of a teenage girl who believes the entire Netherworld is nothing but a dream.
