I'd be thrilled if it continued, but I don't have high hopes.

I know I'm supposed to be encouraging everyone, but...neither do I. I'd rather be realistic than caught off-guard.

But it's not so bad to relax once in a while before we get back to work.

It's important to be honest when you can. Especially when it comes to yourself.

Lune and I aren't allowed to be as honest as we'd like due to how the universe works, but at the same time...we're doing what we can. I don't want to discourage people from trying to find ways to make the universe work in their favor even if we can't.

Yes, the universe does seem to be continuously difficult. Especially for you two.

I've heard from Namine you think the universe is hiding something dark of its own, and Shess received a message from Tsurumaru saying that the way to clear the corruption is to kill everyone here.

Neither of us is willing to believe that's the only option we have.

...I was wondering if that information made its way to you yet. Did Shess says he heard anything else?

If he has, I haven't heard about it yet. We're trying to see who else has that information.

We're trying to encourage you guys to share as much as possible, so it's all I can really hope for by now.

Do you think there are other options outside of a total player kill?

That's what I'm hoping. We're still trying to find a work-around.

The gateways? That seems to have been working out so far.

That's just a part of the gateways, I mean as a whole.

You two do say there's darkness in them.

It's a matter of finding it.

If there wasn't some amount of darkness, or something that could help, we wouldn't receive the coordinates for these particular gateways, I think.

Something that could help, well people have been bringing back those items.

The darkness at the core is extending into the gateways... Is that right?

Are we cutting it off when we find it there? Or is it infecting us?

Something like that. I think there's darkness everywhere, but the amount varies. While there's unrest at the core, there's unrest in other places. Cleansing the gateways is important so it doesn't have a chance of getting stronger. Every time you do, the darkness loses a little bit of its power.

Hmmm... I see. So each week, when somebody gets corrupted and we find them, and when we cleanse the darkness in the gateway, it gets a little weaker.

Are we approaching a final confrontation?

I wish I had a real answer for you. All I can do is speculate...but I hope so.

Hope isn't a bad thing, just as long as we have the drive to pursue an answer.

We can't leave until we're finished here. The people I speak to, I think they do.
