As far as curses go it doesn't feel that bad. Perhaps it's because I knew I was under a curse. Milla seemed to have a... difficult time when she was under it.

A demon ghost.They can't possess anyone, but they can speak without borrowing another person's body.

You had a little more time to prepare yourself. I can't think of many people who'd just be okay with this.

How's that any different than a normal ghost? I thought that's how ghosts actually worked.

Not really, but I've read enough about them to figure that they can usually talk on their own.

Is the ghost lore consistent? I know the vampire lore isn't.

I don't know about consistent, but aren't most stories just versions of what people know? That means it has to be consistent to somebody.

Some of them are simply fiction. According to some of my prinnies they're are parts of the internet dedicated to fake scary stories.

[He still doesn't know how they got the internet as prinnies, but there they are.]

Slenderman is not a demon.

A thin, unnaturally tall humanoid with a featureless head and face and wearing a black suit.

It doesn't exist as a demon or angel.

The human imagination is quite impressive.

...why would anyone think that's scary?

Hm...sorry, I'm just not seeing it. Maybe if nobody's ever seen a monster before that'd be scary.

They consider vampires and werewolves scary, though they also think that if they're bitten by either they'll turn into one themselves.

Nothing like Slenderman, no, but we have other scarier monsters where I'm from. If it's not biting, what turns people into vampires or werewolves?

Describe the monsters.

Nothing. Demons are simply born as vampires or werewolves. People who aren't don't turn into them.

[cyclists]

I'll pass. [He's not really fond of them and would rather Not.] Maybe another time though.

That sounds way more simple than the stories. A lot of monsters have things that have happened to them like experiments or being cursed.

I'd like to hear about them, but I can wait until it's more comfortable time for you.

... Desco is an experiment, but she wasn't turned into something else. She was made the way she is.

That might be a while, Valvatorez. It's part of a life I don't want to think about anymore. [He's grown past that, he hopes, and thinking about it just means he's not focused on what's happening here.]

A middle school girl wanted to take over the world, so her father made Desco to both be a little sister and help her fulfill her dream.

...everything you just said stopped making sense. How was that supposed to actually help? What happened?

Desco is a prototype man-made final boss. The idea was, she would be strong enough to terrorize others into doing what Fuka wanted.

But she ended up in the Netherworld prison through some circumstances. [That weren't coded into the game.]

[That sounds even weirder.] Couldn't you have just reprogrammed her or something so she wasn't doing that?
