It's weird. Almost everything is exactly the same, except you can't leave. I wonder if these planes always existed together or if it was only formed when Lune and I decided we were going to stay.

It kind of seems like one of those things we won't find out about, doesn't it?

Add it to the list, I guess. I'm thinking maybe when this is all over I can actually learn more from the universe because the job will be done.

Do you think it'll still be willing to talk to you once it's all over...?

Pretty sure. It's bound to have a few things to say at the end of all of this, and then I can ask all of my questions it's been ignoring since the beginning.

It's never really a silent thing in the first place. Just purposefully annoying.

... what's it like? Talking to it?

It's weird...it doesn't ever really say words, but it delivers messages on scrolls. And sometimes it's like suddenly knowing an answer even if the words aren't said. Like I had the knowledge all along.

But it's frustrating when it goes silent.

... do you think it'll ever answer why it chose us in particular? Or why it had to be done this way?

Maybe. I have to wonder if it even knows itself. Maybe it's just as confused as we are.

But I have my own guesses for why it was us in the first place.

Why do you think? I know that for us at least, we have experience with the concept of things like light versus darkness...

See, I thought it was that at first. But I know that's not the case for everybody. So, I think the universe brought people here that needed to learn what it was like to really work together for a common goal. You know how important balance is when it comes to light and darkness. But that can't be achieved if people don't know what's at stake.

It's still a pretty dumb method, but...I think everyone here will walk away learning something anyway.

But I guess... not everything was that bad...

It's not any dumber than some of the stuff that's happened at home. [Just thinking about it is annoying though...]

...what's been your favorite part so far? [Focus on the good, at least.]

... it may sound a little silly, but I just like it when you can walk up to someone and have a conversation.

It didn't have to be about anything important, but... it was nice.

I don't think that's silly. There were so many people here, and they were all different. [He's not going to say out loud that neither of them really had a chance to talk to many people in the first place, and therefore it makes sense.] Most of them always had something to say anyway.

Yeah. And I know that most of the people here aren't used to things like going to other worlds, so it was interesting to talk about stuff like that.

No world traveling, no magic...but then there are people who had other abilities I've never even heard of. I can't wait to show everyone everything we can. [Yeah that's not really crossing his mind either, it's fine.] When we get back, maybe more roads will open for us so we can get to these places even faster.

I hope so. There's a lot of people I need to check in on.

Have you told them that yet? Or are you going to surprise them?

... I should probably tell some of them.

I'd do it sooner than later. [YEAH, PLEASE.] It might give them something else to hold onto, too, in the future if they choose to keep their memories.

...and especially if it might take a little bit of time.

Not really. I sort of explained my personal situation, but I never told anyone the whole thing.
