[CAT! So yeah, anyway, first thing's first Sol is seated somewhere around the castle in a patch of grass that's getting a lot of sunlight. It's hidden, so his hood's already down...and he's also apparently laying on his stomach and having a staring contest with a kitten. He hears Naminé though and while he doesn't look away, he speaks up.]

I think I'm winning.

[whitewalls]

Are you cheating?

[ she's walking over with this guy in her arms, complete with the sweater. it's fine. ]

[cyclists]

No, why would I? [The kitten gives a sleepy blink and Roxas cheers.] I win! [But he's rolling over to a.) pet the cat under its chin and b.) look at Naminé so that c.) he suddenly gets a look at their other visitor.]

...you. Brought a friend. [It's really unfortunate that he can never be mean to Naminé because it means his question of "what the heck is that" is lost into the void.]

Isn't he cute?

[ this is a genuine question because naminé fell in love with this cat at first sight ]

He's...very stylish. [WHY.] Where'd he come from?

A bunch of cats showed up in that cafe in the gateway.

So that's what that was all about...[He's laughing under his breath.] At least they're cute. And he looks...happy.

Mmhm. I've been trying to think of a name.

[Give him a moment to think really hard...]

...Sherbet. [Like rainbow sherbet.

Please don't ever ask Roxas to be clever.]

[ she looks down at the cat. ]

Hello, Sherbet. This is Roxas.

Nice to meet you, Sherbet. [He's half-wondering if this cat is going to claw him in the face. It's fine. Roxas's own cat is crawling up onto his back which means he's stuck laying on his stomach.]

This is Wednesday. [He's also throwing out an arm to gesture for Naminé to sit next to him.]

[whitewalls]

It's nice to meet you, Wednesday. I hope we all become friends.

[ sherbert just stares at roxas with eyes that are dead inside ]

[Finally, a use for the only Roxas and Naminé icon I have because oh boy. Roxas is also just staring at Sherbert and this is. Stupid.

Wednesday meows loudly though and kneads himself into Roxas's back. Naminé found Sherbert and Roxas wound up with a shouty kitty that matches his temperament.]

I think we will be. There aren't a lot of pets around here, so it's nice to know people can play with them while they're around.

[whitewalls]

I adopted a chocolate frog the other day...

[ chocomaru is out there

but she'll reach over to give wednesday some pets. ]

[cyclists]

[The cat immediately purrs because it's already spoiled.] You...what? Why? Is it a real frog?

[Someone didn't get his Hogwarts letter and hasn't looked around much.]

He's a frog... but made out of chocolate.

Is it really adopting if he's made out of candy? Where is he?

He's probably in the fridge right now.

Are you going to keep him in there forever?

We take him out to play.

[ he sees the sunlight ]

You don't think Sherbert will get jealous that you're paying attention to the frog, too? What if they don't get along?

Ookurikara is also looking after him, so I can manage both.

You're actually friends with that guy?

I don't think we're friends...

[ they don't talk that much to each other. ]

But we just decide to be co-parents for Chocomaru.
