Have you gotten the chance to explore the gateway at all? It’s pretty cool, especially the shopping village that’s there.

[cyclists]

Not yet. [A hand comes up to pet Wednesday the kitten.] We're not allowed in sometimes, and now that I have Wednesday I've been making sure he's comfortable. But it sounds really cool. [...] Can we go?

[foodbin]

[She nods.]

I think you’ll like it. There’s a dessert shop and everything.

[cyclists]

That sounds really cool. [He's balancing the cat on his shoulder and he's standing up, willing away the ice cream he's been steadily working on.] I can get some stuff for Lune and surprise him!

[Listen, he's just excited for a field trip.]

[foodbin]

I bet he'd like that. You could probably find him a new kind of tea at the coffee shop.

[She takes a step in the direction of the gateway, glancing his way.]

[He's immediately following, please don't assume he's not practically bolting after her to make sure they're going together.]

He'd like that a lot...and maybe sweets to go with it? He deserves to try new stuff just as much as I do.

[foodbin]

Mhm. Like I said, there’s an entire dessert store, even if some of the things it sells are... a little bit weird. I bet you’ll like it, though.

[cyclists]

I don't mind a little weird. Some of the places I've been to and some of the places I remember have had some weird stuff available, too. That's what makes each world different.

[The cat mews from his place on Sol's shoulder and he brings a hand up to pet him.] What's been your favorite place in the gateway so far?

Hm... In this specific gateway, or out of all of them?

Actually... I think it might be the same for both questions. The shopping village here is pretty cool.

[cyclists]

That's where that café and stuff is, right? I haven't been over there but it sounds like it's pretty busy. Can we go there first?

[foodbin]

[She nods.]

You ready to head out?

[cyclists]

Yeah. [He's up, Wednesday the kitten clinging to his shoulder before crawling to drop inside Sol's hood to ride along.] I don't have any other plans for today right now anyway.

[So. He's excited.]

[Off they gooooo via a magical timeskip that puts them right in the shopping village inside the gateway.]

You said the coffee shop first, right?

Yeah. May as well see what happened when Wednesday showed up...plus I've never seen one in person. There's a bistro where I'm from but I haven't gone to see it myself yet.
