More or less. [Another bite of ice cream.] I was in the middle of something else before I got here, so...whenever this is over, I'll go back to that. When that's finished, I'll go home.

[foodbin]

Can I ask what you were in the middle of?

[cyclists]

I was trying to find someone. I'm not sure where to look or even where to start, so...I started looking everywhere. And then the core found me instead.

[And they wound up here.]

[foodbin]

...Man, I bet that was a bummer. Well, I hope you find whoever it was.

[cyclists]

...yeah. You and me both. [The finality in that statement basically says: "or else I'm screwed."]

It's just another reason to do everything I can to help you figure out what to do here. It's all kinda connected together.

[foodbin]

[After a moment:]

I get it if you still can't tell me, but... There's really nothing I can call you other than Sol?

[cyclists]

...did you ask Lune this question? [That doesn't exactly mean a no, but they're curious.]

[foodbin]

No, but... We're having a heart to heart, it feels weird to call you by a name that's not really yours.

[cyclists]

It wouldn't be the first time. [They sound sort of annoyed.] But I guess I get your point...

[foodbin]

[She pauses, a little bit expectant.]

[cyclists]

...but you can't repeat it to anybody else unless I say so, okay?

[foodbin]

[She nods.]

Promise.

[cyclists]

[...]

... Roxas.

[foodbin]

Okay. Nice to... remeet you, I guess?

[cyclists]

[There's a nod, followed by a pause as he seems to debate something. It's a little stretch of silence before he puts the bowl of ice cream down.]

[cyclists]

[And with his hands free now, he reaches up and slowly pulls back the hood, letting it hit his back softly as he continues staring at her almost warily, but also a little hopefully.]

It's nice to remeet you, too.

[foodbin]

[She pauses for a moment, before:]

...You look familiar. [But she can't place it.] There's no way we could have met before, right?

[cyclists]

Mm-mm. I don't think so. [...granted now that he thinks about it, he wonders what Emma might have seen.] Like I said, I didn't get out much before this.

[foodbin]

[She waves it off with a nod.]

Right. Must have just been my imagination.

[cyclists]

[An uneasy smile.] Yeah, maybe. It's been a rough couple of weeks of seeing things, hasn't it?

[Dreams. Memories. It's a lot.]

[foodbin]

...Come to think of it, are you and Lune getting the same thing? You're partners, in a way.

[cyclists]

We are, but it's not the same. Our rules about participation and how we're tied together are a little different than yours. But I tell him pretty much everything anyway so maybe it doesn't make a difference.

[foodbin]

Do you have different effects, or none?

[cyclists]

The only effects we have are when we try to tell you too much and the universe stops us. No dreams, no weird urges to dance, nothing like that. Since we're kinda like the universe's hands I think we skipped that part.
